"Oh my god girl, you look so hot. Why don't you wear these clothes to the office? All the guys will go ga ga over you if they see you in this dress"

Lavanya complimented Khushi. Khushi wore a shiny black, backless, sleeveless short dress. The only appropriate clothing she had for an occasion like this. This was a gift she received from one of her school friends on her 18th birthday.

Khushi had to make sure she wore a long jacket covering herself from her parents. If they saw her going out like this, she would have been grounded for a lifetime.

"I hardly go out Lavanya, so when I got the chance I thought why not"

"You are just like me Khushi. I don't go out much. I am not from here. I was raised in Australia so I don't have many friends here"

"What about in the office?"

"They all think I got this job because of my friendship with ASR. But the reality is I didn't even know I was going to be his PA"

"You two are friends? Why didn't you say so"

"We both studied at the same campus. While he was the class topper, I barely manage to pass my papers. But we became good friends. When he started his own business over there, he hired me. So I gained enough administrative experience"

"Then what are you doing here?"

"When my mom and dad got divorced, my mom moved back to India. My dad cheated on my mom so I didn't feel right staying there with my dad. So I moved to India with my mom"

"I am sorry to hear Lavanya"

"Thanks. I did a few casual marketing jobs before I saw this job advertisement. I applied and I got the job. All they said was I would be the PA to their new junior CEO. I didn't know ASR was going to be my boss. I didn't even know he moved back to India because we lost touch after I left Australia"

"I get it, so everyone in the office now thinks you got this job because of Sir?"

"Yes. So they don't want to be friends with me because of my friendship with ASR. How can they even think like that Khushi? I mean, who would use your personal connections to get a job? I would rather work as a PA for the rest of my life than get promoted because I know ASR. I want to reach the top but with my own merits"

Khushi felt as if she was slapped. Lavanya's words started haunting her. Wasn't she going to do the same thing Lavanya said? Use Arnav to reach the top. Khushi felt disgusted about herself and she wanted her mind off of this feeling.

"Khushi, calm down. This is your third drink. Are you planning on drinking till you drop? Because if that's the case, I am in"

"Lavanya, forget about everything, and let's party baby"

"I never thought you can be this entertaining Khushi, cheers let's party baby"

"Bro, are you sure dad won't notice us missing?"

"Akash, he goes to sleep at 8.00 and you know his routine. He won't be up before 5.00 am. We should be home before that"

"If you say so. Because it has been ages since I partied so I am going to go wild"

"Go ahead and enjoy yourself. I am going to go and have a drink"

While Akash disappeared into the dancing crowd, Arnav walked to the bar area to grab himself a drink. Arnav was supposed to go to this party with his friend but she canceled on him last minute. Therefore, he took Akash with him to this pub just so he won't be at home sulking about Khushi.

"Khushi?"

Arnav spilled his drink when he saw the very person he was trying to ignore. On the dancing floor, there was Khushi, wearing a sexy dress and flaunting her milky skin. Arnav stood up to go to her when he was Lavanya walking to her with two drinks. He sat down sipping his drink again. He cannot be seen around Khushi like that. He took his phone out and started going through his emails.
