When you say Nothing at All

Chapter 30

"Is the food here?"

Khushi came out of the washroom to see four faces looking at her. Two wanted to kill her and two with confused emotions.

"Hello, guys. I see you've met Arnav"

"Khushi if you are trying your antics again I swear to god I am going to kill you myself and what is this ASR? Haven't you had enough?"

"Lavanya, sit down. Let us talk like civilized people"

Arnav tried to calm her down but Payal turned to Lavanya before Arnav could finish.

"What is this Lavanya? I know you and Khushi have differences but this is not a way to talk"

"Payal, let her talk. You don't know anything about these two and how Khushi manipulated my brother"

"Stop it, Akash, I can't tolerate you talking to my sister like this"

All four of them started blaming each other while Khushi looked at Arnav and gestured an I told you so. Arnav who couldn't take this anymore got up and screamed,

"All of you shut the hell up. Just because neither of us says anything does not mean you guys can pass the blame. Have a seat and let us explain"

"ASR, there is....."

"Lavanya, you are my friend but there is a limit. I am not some six-year-old kid who needs your backup. Have a seat and let me talk"

Akash who wanted to talk pulled himself back seeing his brother's reaction. All four of them sat on the couch while Arnav and Khushi took a seat opposite them and started explaining everything that had happened four years ago. 

"What?"

"How?"

"No, that can't be"

"But we thought"

"Is that so?"

"Oh my god"

"How dare you?"

Were the only voices Arav and Khushi heard in the middle of their explanation. 

"Now, let's focus on the present. Khushi has gone through a lot more than I did because of what I did and what my father did"

"But ASR, she took the money. I saw the proof"

"Lavanya, that's where I am coming to now. No, she did not. Someone else pretended to be her so that they could get a considerable sum. I got Aman working on that and soon I will be able to find out who that person was"

"Bhai, Dad wouldn't do something like that would he?"

"You heard the story, Akash"

"But that means, he will be in the middle of Payal and me?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if he did"

"Bhai we need to do something. I can't leave her"

"Relax Akash. I have a plan that will help all of us"

Khushi looked at Payal and NK, they were silent this whole time. She saw a disappointment in their faces and a sudden fear of losing came through to her. 

"Payal, NK, don't you have anything to say?"

NK stood up and walked to Khushi. 

"You know I consider as my other sister"

"I know NK"

"So when I say this don't feel bad. I am only saying this as a brother. What you did was wrong Khushi. All through your pregnancy I cursed the man who impregnated you and left you. But now that I know the whole story, you both are to be blamed equally"
