K I'm just gonna warn y'all now that this story will contain more mature themes. Yes, they're 18 and 17 as of this chapter but they will grow as these chapters move on. I tend to tackle more serious topics, but don't worry I will put trigger warnings.

Plus, these two are teenagers, they're gonna do shit- sorry.
The end credit time skip fast forwards to when Hunter and Mipha would be 21 and 20, and even then when we get there, the story won't be stopping.

These two have a life ahead of them.

And unforuntately they've got more work to do before they get their happy ever after.

Happy Reading~

Mipha's POV:

"Surgery?!" I shrieked, the room shaking and the flooring and walls cracking. I gasped for air, beginning to panic as mom and Nini sat at my sides trying to keep me calm as the doctor told us what was going on with my magic.

"Unfortunately, due to underlying birth defects-"
"Underlying birth defects?! What defects?! I did a damn good job making her and getting her here! How dare-"
"Eda! Just calm down, listen to them before you blow up, please" Nini begged, reaching over my lap to grab moms hand.
My ears began ringing, Nini noticing and leaning to hug me with their free arm.

"Breath... it's gonna be ok" they reassured me as I adjusted my glasses and looked back at the doctor.

"As I was saying, it states here that Mipha was the size of a 20 week fetus when she was born despite being in utero for 43 weeks. Because of that as she grew, her bile sack couldn't quite keep up with her, making her magic weaker. But now it seems something triggered it to heal itself and produce far too much bile for the sack to handle, causing outbursts, and lack of control. These walls and floors being terrific examples of the instability within Ms Whispers" she spoke softly, showing different diagrams.

"Miss Whispers, can you think of anything that's happened to you in the last year that could've cause this?" I thought for a moment, before thinking to right before these advanced powers and outbursts started.

"I... I died... Belos gutted me... and I was brought back to life by a friend who grew a Golden Stardrop flower-"
"That would do it. Sure it heals wounds, but if put on an open wound, such as your stomach gashes, it would've gone into your bloodstream, increasing your blood flow, which links up to your bile sack" she explained as she made all the diagrams disapear, I felt tears flood my eyes, dropping down in big drops, the salty fluid flooding me and making it hard to see.

"Seems it's also affecting your tears" I kept wiping them away, mom taking my glasses as I leaned against Nini.
"So what do we do? What is this surgery she would need?" Nini spoke sternly, slight worry and panic in their tone as I'm sure they're freaking out inside their mind.

"The surgery would be to remove the excess bile, as well as using healing magic to go into her bloodstream and stop the overproduction at the source, turning it back to how it was before she uh... died" my heart was pounding before it started to cramp.

"AGH! AH! NO! NO NO N- NRRGH!" I screamed and fell off the medical bed and onto my knees, mom and nini coming down and holding me steady as I strained and cried from the pain.
"Do the surgery! Please!" Nini begged as the doctor then paged a bunch of other people. I felt myself changing to water. Nini and mom lost their grip on my arms as their hands went right through me.

"Mipha! Come on you can get through it!" They called to me as I collapsed on the ground gasping for air.
"Is any part of her material?" The doctor asked as mom said my leg was still normal before I felt something sharp hit my thigh. I started feeling drowsy, the ringing in my ears getting louder before I leaned forward and felt myself change back as I hit the ground with a thud.
I moaned in pain, trying to move and open my eyes but they felt super heavy, I couldn't move.
