A Different Life (Golden Guard x !Autistic! Reader)

Chapter 23

Here we go, I suck at Wedding Chapter's, but we're gonna give it a go.

Mipha's POV:

"You look beautiful, you excited?" Willow asked, I smiled and nodded my head, feeling the anxiety create cramps in my chest as I stared in the mirror. I was in my dress, my hair done half up and half down, a braid resting across the back of my head like a velvet rope. The veil was soft and comfortable, nothing was scratchy, I felt beautiful. 
But I was scared. 

Today was the day I had been waiting for for over a year and a half. After tonight, Hunter and I were going a place called Hawaii in the Human Realm. A week of relaxation, just the two of us.  Everything was the way it needed to be, Nini waited patiently to walk me down the aisle, Willow making sure my bouquett of flower's was up to par and looking beautiful as I made sure my vows were in my pocket. Nice thing about this dress is that is also has pockets. The music started, Amity, Luz, and Vee ready to walk down the aisle as my bridesmaids, King going first as the ring bearer, Gus next as best man and the flower boy, he had a fanny pack on full of flower petals. Then the bridesmaid, then Willow... now it was my turn. 

Nini walked over to me, taking my hands and looking ready to cry.

"I'm proud of you, I've waited for this day... The Day I would give you away to someone else... you're everything I hoped you would be, and more. I couldn't have asked to raise a better daughter than you" they held their tears back, hugging me tight.
"Thank you Nini... I wouldn't be here without you" I assured them, feeling emotional before we linked arms, laughing at how I'm taller than them now before the doors opened, a gentle melody playing as everyone stood and looked to me.
At the end of the aisle, was the man I loved more than anything. He was wearing a grey suit with a gold colar on the jacket, a gold tie, white dress shirt underneath, black pants, and black shoes. His eyes lit up when he saw me. Tears threatening to spill as Gus nudged him and wiggled his eyebrows, the two laughing as Hunter wiped his eyes and looked back to me. His smile grew wider as Nini and I began the slow walk down the aisle, the room was lit up with small stars and light orbs. Blues, purples, blacks, anything and everything galaxy was in this room, making us feel like we were in space, floating amongst the stars and lights. 

Everyone was here, all our friends, all our families, everyone. Mom, Uncle Dari, Uncle Eber, and Hooty were in the front rows, an empty spot for Nini to sit once they gave me to Hunter. Once we reached the Alter, Hunter desended the steps, taking my hand as Nini smiled, giving me to him and gently threatening to kill him if he hurt me. We all laughed, before they went to their spot and Hunter led me up the stairs to where Aunt Lily stood, beaming with pride as she got the honor of being the minister for our special day.

"You may be seated... dearly beloved we are today to unite Mipha Dell Whispers, and Hunter Caleb Deamonne in holy matrimony. I had the task of training both of these children when we were in the Emperor's Coven. At the time I thought nothing of it but a burden to my time and talent-" We all laughed as Aunt Lily spoke, all of us knowing she was playing around for the most part.

"But looking back I'm proud to say I trained two very talented witches. Hunter, though once I called you a brat, you grew into a very talented, kind, and respectable young man. Despite what Belos made you endure, you held your head high and made the right choices for both yourself and other's. You've lost so much, but gained just as much in return for your sacrifices. A family, friends, allies and more. You showed determination and took every challenge with stride, never giving up, and I myself am very proud to soon call you my nephew" she smiled, Hunter wiping a tear away as my heart felt so full of love as I stared into his eyes. 

"Mipha, when you were brought into the castle, I suspected you belonged to my sister, but never questioned it after Raine told me you weren't in order to protect you and Eda from the harshness of our world. You grew, slowly but surely. You discovered yourself, and clung to what little you had in order to survive. Like Hunter, you lost many things, but gained just as much. Raine confided in me recently, and gave me permission to say that while they knew one day they would give you away to someone, they worried you would have no other family to support you. But here you stand with both parents, and the rest of your chosen family and friends, blood or no. You, my little Zora, are one in a million, and I am proud that you are my niece" she sniffled, holding her tears in as mine slid down my cheeks. I didn't even care, if all the photo's have me crying from joy, so be it. 

"Little Zora, I gave you that name because of your love of water, and your talent in element based magic rather than the magic we were taught to use under Belos' rule. Zora's, a mythical creature of water and land, talented in music, tied to nature, but warriors and allies to many a kingdom in mythical histories. They are strong, loyal, caring, and compassionate creatures, traits of which I see within you every day. You wear the name with pride, despite never truly knowing why I call you such a name. It has been a delight to watch you grow" she finished, having more to say about me than Hunter due to our own upbringing's in the coven.

"We all know Mipha gets anxious and can't stay still long, so I shall make this quick and easy" we all laughed again, hearing mom snort in the crowd as I nearly collapsed to my knees from nerves and laughter.

"Mipha, your vows" she smiled as I let go of Hunter's hands and brought out my vows from my pocket. 

"Hunter, when I met you, you were my first friend. I was still hiding in my shell. You had travelled to get files from my Nini, Raine, but was shoved to the ground by none other than myself as I had a breakdown over the fabric of my scout uniform. Despite that entrance, you still agreed to be my friend. Our first mission, in which we tried and failed to hunt a selkidomus, the failure being due to my own mother's scheming" I laughed, mom smiling at me, so proud of herself.

"When we were in the human realm, you comforted me, you held me, and you protected me. I may have died on Halloween, but you and Willow saved me. After being possessed by Belos, you fought him, and took control back from him and protected and saved us all. You saved me days later when I lost control of my magic and created a typhoon. When I was ripped from your arms and turned into a puppet, you searched for me. You brought me home, you brought me back to my parents who I had thought I'd have never seen again. Every step of the way, you were beside me. Through all the recent hardships, losing our child, healing and making our home our own, you never once left or made me doubt your love and commitment to me. I vow to return the favor, and stand by you forever, never to leave you, never to cheat you, never to betray you. I love you with all my heart and soul, you are truly my soulmate. I cannot wait to have you as my husband, so we may continue our lives, and continue to grow together" I sobbed, the flood gates opening as I finished my vows, Hunter crying as well as he let every word I spoke sink into him.

He took a paper from his jacket, swallowing his nerves and clearing his throat. 

"Mine isn't as long-" laughter errupted once again, all of us laughing as he cleared his throat once again.

"Mipha, I had so much trouble writing vows, because there's just so much to say. You saved me, over and over and over and yet you ask for nothing in return for any and all of your sacrifices. I love you beyond words and actions, despite... d-despite... t-titan I'm sorry.." he choked out, struggling to speak as I smiled and nodded, letting him know it was alright.

"Despite being a grimwalker, despite not being a proper witch by genetics, you never left nor did you ever make me feel less than my worth. You are a true treasure. You're a little different- heh... but I love that about you. I love everything about you. You becoming my wife has been something I've been looking forward to for years, since Belos was defeated- in fact. I vow to always love, care, and cherish you. I vow to always be by you side, no matter what" he folded the paper, handing it to Gus as we both cried, our tears being of joy as I spotted Uncle Dari surpressing his tears and trying to keep a strong face.

Aunt Lily grabbed the rings from Gus, two gold wedding bands with our wedding date engraved on the inside.

"Mipha, do you take Hunter to-"
"I do" I interupted, hearing laughter once again since we all knew I just couldn't wait any longer.

"Hunter?"
"I do" he smiled, the two of us putting each other's rings on before I started bouncing in my spot.

"Well, by the power vested in my by the city of Bonesborough, and witnessed by our very own little Titan terror- I now pronounce you, Husband and Wife!" she cheered, everyone clapping for us.

"You may now- OH!" we wasted no time, Hunter grabbing me and dipping me down, kissing me as our tears connected at our mouths, our joy beyond any compare. Everyone was cheering for us, clapping as we stood before everyone, our rings glowing to symbolize the everlasting oath we just made. 

"I am please to intruduce: Mipha and Hunter Whispers!" Aunt Lily announced as I jumped up and down excitedly, Hunter laughing and scooping me up bridal style, readying himself as if he was about to run before teleporting forward multiple times before we were out of the wedding hall. One last teleport and we were in the green room next to the room our reception would be in. 

Hunter pinned me to the wall, kissing me as I put my hands in his hair, tugging and moaning into his mouth as he growled, nibbling at my lip as his hands gripped my waist, ready to tear my dress to pieces before I stopped him.
"Save it for the hotel, we still gotta dance, handsome~" I cooed, Hunter letting another low growl escape his throat before he shook his head, resting his head on my shoulder as his heavy breaths puffed against my collar bone.

"Sorry, beast took over a bit there~" he laughed, his voice low and husky before he guided me to sit down with him. 
"Well Mr Whispers, tonight we go to our honeymoon, then it's a week of relaxing" I smirked, checking my appearance and using magic to fix any discrepencies, soon turning to Hunter and helping him look presentable again as well. About an hour went by and it was time for our entrance. We were introduced, and we walked in with linked arms and smiles on our faces, greeting everyone and getting used to the cheers as the room lit up like a starry sky, the lights on us as we took our places and began our first dance. 

The music was gentle, Hunter holding my waist with one hand, the other holding my hand while my spare hand rested on his shoulder.

"You excited to dance with Raine?"
"Live in the moment, Hunter. Right now it's you and me" I giggled as he gently dipped me down and kissed my nose, making me laugh again as he brought me back up and spun me around. 
All eyes were on us as we gracefully glided around the room. His eyes sparkled in the light, but then again the lights were glaring in my eyes thanks to my glasses.
Once the song came to an end, Nini came and offered their hand to me, which I happily took. Hunter kissed my head, letting me go as Nini took their place with me, holding me and swaying side to side in a simple little dance. 

"I'm so proud of you" they smiled, tears in their eyes.
"You raised me, give yourself some credit..."
"Yes, but... when you were in the human realm, you grew up so much more than you ever did with me, I held you back-"
"No... No Nini you didn't hold me back, I wouldn't be here without you... You kept me, you raised me with everything you had, on your own. You're everything I've ever wanted to be, strong, loving... you were always there for me" I sniffled, getting emotional as Nini pulled me into more of a hug as we continued swaying side to side.

"I will always be here, no matter what happens I am always going to drop everything for you. You've been through hell, but yet you stand here with your head held high" they smiled, kissing my head and holding me close, like if they let go I would disapear.

"I'm always going to need you... you and mom...we still want our family and I don't think I'll be able to do it all without you guys..." I cried, Nini squeezing me in their arms as the song came to a stop.
"I love you, sweetheart. That will never change" they kissed my forehead before we all took our seats.

The rest of the night was spent telling embarrassing stories about Hunter and I in the coven, dancing, eating, drinking, and having fun with everyone that I loved.

We're married.
Now things can finally start falling into place.
