Chapter 5

Hunter's POV:

I groaned as Waffle pulled at my hair, my head pounding from last night as I thought about everything that happened. It's fuzzy, but I do know we broke our promise. I know we didn't have sex, I don't even think I got anywhere close to being inside her, but she did jerk me off and make me experience the best orgasm I've ever had. Her hand... seeing her face when she did that to me... I wish I could replay it over and over. I had the worst hangover right now, but I know that right now Mipha is in shambles because neither of us realized I was drunk.

I mean how the hell did I not know I was drunk! I was so caught up in what I was feeling I didn't stop to think about what was causing the feelings to be that intense. I rubbed my eyes, squinting as my vision felt like it was lagging a little bit like those video games in the human realm Luz couldn't get to work properly.

I got up, petting Waffles and giving her a treat from the drawer of my bedside table, this satisfying her as I got up and went into the bathroom to shower. I hopped in, washing myself off and noticing we did absolutely zero cleanup last night. No wonder I felt uncomfortable sleeping. I washed my hair, letting the hot water hit my face as I worked the shampoo through my hair before rinsing and repeating with the conditioner. I finished up with some body wash and getting out and drying off.

 I left the manor and started the walk to the Owl House.
Once we got to the Owl House I noticed Raine and Eda were outside talking to each other, I raised an eyebrow.

"Ms. Eda! Raine! What's-"
"You think you can just show up here after what you-"
"Eda stop! They were drunk! Enough!" I froze as Raine yanked on Eda's shoulder, reeling her back to them and shaking their head, Eda was fuming.

"Look I don't remember much of last night but I just want to talk to Mipha!"
"No! Get out of here you-"
"EDALYN! ENOUGH!" Raine moved to grab Eda's short arm and pulled her inside and slammed the door.

"Eda you've been telling them to have sex ever since Belos was defeated! Mipha gives him a handjob and all of a sudden you're all Alpha Angry Harpy Eda! Stop it! They're nearly adults!" I heard Raine scold Eda, being met with annoyed and angry noises from the Owl Lady.

"She's our daughter! He was drunk and used it to his advantage!"
"Neither of them knew the other was drunk because NO ONE knew that student spiked the punch! So calm down, drink some tea, and nap! You're hung over too!" Everything went quiet before the door opened, revealing Raine.

"Can you PROMISE me that last night neither of you knew you were intoxicated?" They gave me a stern stare, making me swallow the lump forming in my throat.
"I promise! I had no idea I was drunk! I swear!" I begged, Raine nodded and moved to the side, letting me in. I went straight to Mipha's room, knocking on the door and opening it a little, seeing Mipha burried in her blankets

"Meephs-"
"I'm sorry... I should've known..." I shook my head, I should've known she would blame herself. I sat down next to her, shaking my shoulder and getting Waffle to go to Celeste's perch in the corner. I gently pulled the blankets off of her, seeing that she must've been crying all night.

I turned back to Mipha, grabbing her glasses from her nightstand and gently tilting her head to the side to face me, letting me slide her glasses onto her face.

"Neither of us knew, you had my consent, besides... that was the most amazing feeling last night-"
"Hunter be serious"
"I am! Sunshine it was a three week difference, we got nailed with all the negatives. We were drunk, we were alone, and we were both wearing VERY flattering clothing, you looked gorgeous" I shrugged, Mipha looked at me with glossy eyes before she sat up and pulled her knees to her chest, sniffling.

"I'm sorry... I just... I don't even know" she whimpered, burrying her head into her knees. I sighed, scooting closer to her and wrapping my arms around her, making her gasp and untuck, sitting normally beside me.
