HeavenLeigh POV

10:30 PM

I checked Honesty's room to make sure she was asleep, and she was.

I left her door open, like I always do and I went back into my bedroom, tying my robe around me.

I had "How deep is your love" by Keith Sweat playing lowly. Just in an oldies mood.

Self care type of night.

I pulled my hair into a ponytail and looked in my mirror, placing my hands on my dresser. Just looking.

I then grabbed my facial oil, and squeezed it into my hand before rubbing it on my face, taking a deep breath.

I grabbed my glass of apple cider I had sitting on the dresser, and I sat on the edge of the bed taking a sip, just thinking.

My phone started ringing, I looked over at it and seen it was Roddy.

I answered it and sat my glass down saying "Hey Roddy"

"Was good Heaven. How you doing?" He asked.

"I'm well thank you. You good?" I asked.

"Yeah fasho.. Just checking in. What's Honesty doing?" He asked.

"She's sound asleep. Its 10 over here so" I said chuckling.

"Oh yeah- Sometimes I be forgetting there's a time difference" He said and we both laughed.

"Yeah but I'm up, so you all good" I said.

"Mhm what you doing up?" He asked.

"Some self care, just relaxing" I said.

"Am I interrupting?" Roddy asked.

"Nah you're fine. Other wise I wouldn't have answered" I said chuckling.

"You uh.. Been showing out on the gram lately" Roddy said.

"Mmm I always show out" I said.

"You right but it's been times ten lately. Wassup wit that" He asked.

"What you mean?" I asked.

"Somebody in the picture?" He asked me and I laughed.

"You asking me if I'm seeing somebody?" I asked.

"Basically" Roddy said chuckling.

"No, I'm not seeing anyone. I just look good, that ain't my fault" I said.

"Mmm.. You right about that." He said and I didn't say anything.

"HeavenLeigh.." He said.

"Yeah?" I said.

"I never seen a girl, who hypnotize like you.." Roddy said to me, and for some reason that statement gave me chills.

"Oh gosh.." I said just trying to laugh that off.

"I'm for real.. Mm." He said.

"Roddy stop it" I said laughing.

"You think I'm playing, I'm serious. That's why I married you." Roddy said.

"I'm sure." I said. "Don't you have a girlfriend by the name of Jimetta?"

"I do." Roddy said.

"I don't think she would like you speaking like that to me." I said.

"I don't give a damn what she think." Roddy said.

"See- That's not good" I said.

"Man- Our relationship ain't what you think it is." He said.
