Roddy POV

"Somebody's finally up" HeavenLeigh said as I opened my eyes and I chuckled as I yawned and sat up a bit.

"Yeah I ain't been sleeping that well since the whole situation but now that it's put to rest, I can breathe again." I said.

"I bet.." She said.

I then looked at her hair and said "Oh you went and got the braids redone?" I said.

"Mhm" She said chuckling.

"They look nice." I said.

"Thank you.. You hungry?" She asked.

"You made some food?" I asked.

"Yeah. I hope you didn't mind, but Honesty was hungry and-"

"Mi casa su casa shawty. I don't mind" I said and she laughed saying "Whatever."

"And thank you." I said.

"For what?" She asked.

"Helping me and Remy through that. Uh.. Mal was definitely right. About you being the gatekeeper in our family." I said.

"I just did what I had to do Roddy. There's really no need to thank me." She said rubbing my arm, then she patted it.

"You know, Kamal knows you well. I guess." I said.

"What you mean?" She asked scrunching her eyebrows.

"He said some really... Deep things about you that day." I said.

"Yeah I know" Heaven replied.

"So he knows you pretty well." I said and she just looked at me.

"Are you trying to say something? Like what's going on in your head?" She asked.

"Nothing I just-"

"Nah nah nah, we not gone do that. Tell me, because it's something. You're being very bland about it but I know something's up." HeavenLeigh said.

I sighed.

"Nothing, for real." I said and she just looked at me.

"Aight.." She said as she stood up. "Food is downstairs whenever you're ready to eat"

"Okay" I said. "But are you going to Remy's thing tonight?" I asked.

"The kickback?" HeavenLeigh asked.

"Yeah" I said.

"Mhm, I'll be there" She said.

"Coo.." I said with a smile and she smiled too before walking out the room.

Remy was throwing a kickback which has been planned for the past two weeks so. Of course we was all gone come.
