I was in the studio, just getting work done.
Whatever I needa do to keep my sanity right now.
Grieving the death of my father has not been easy, but with God I can get through anything. So I just keep that in mind.

I then stopped, and then stopped the beat after, and I took the headphones off and looked over at Deon.
"What you think?" I asked.
"You dope as fuck man, for real. I feel like I'm friends with a legend" He said.
"Aww! Thank you D" I said giving him a hug.
"No problem. Quick question though" He said.
"Mhm" I said taking a sip of my water.
"How you holding up? Your dad's funeral was the other day, and you haven't said much since. Especially since you and Roddy kinda got in that argument" Deon said.
I sighed.
"It's a lot. I'm just trying to manage. You know?" I said.
"Yeah I get you." He said.
"And Roddy.. He just- He can be very selfish sometimes. And I don't have the time for it right now" I said.
"I feel that, especially while you grieving" He said.
"Exactly. And also.. I been meaning to talk to you about something" I said.
"Okay" He said.
"So, since my mom is pretty much alone now, I don't wanna stay in New York anymore. I was thinking about moving back out here just to make sure she's okay and everything. But also, I don't want you going back to the life you lived in New York. So.. I was wondering, if you'd wanna move with me out here?" I said.
He rose his eyebrows and smiled.
"Heaven yes man! Yes! I'll pay rent, get a job, do whatever it is I gotta do for real man. I just want a better life and you've been helping me with that" Deon said and I smiled.
"I'm glad, so glad" I said as we hugged.
"Thank you for even thinking of me Heaven. I never really experienced that before." He said.
"Of course. It's always love. Genuine love." I said.
"I'm ready for the move, I'm ready for a new start" Deon said. I smiled as we shook hands and I said "You got it."
