Kamal POV

"You good lil man?" I asked KuMar and he nodded his head with the bottle in his mouth.

I kissed his forehead as I sat back a bit, and then I heard my doorbell ring.

I held KuMar as I stood up from the couch and walked to the front door.

I looked through the peephole first and seen it was HeavenLeigh.

I opened it and she stood there with a bag of food from KFC.

"Wanna talk about it?" She asked lifting up the bag of food.

I smiled a little and opened the door a bit wider, "Come in.." I said.

I appreciated her stopping by. Says a lot.

She walked inside and I shut the door behind her.

We walked to the living room and I said "You can sit the food right here on the coffee table"

"Okay" She said as she sat it down and she reached her arms out for KuMar. I handed KuMar to her and she smiled saying "How's my nephew hmm?" As she held him.

"Thank God I have a calm baby" I said and she laughed saying "I said the same thing about Honesty."

"On me." I said. "Thank you for bringing food, and for stopping by." I added.

"Oh of course, how are you doing?" She asked, looking over at me, as she adjusted Kumar's bottle in his mouth.

"I'm good, I'm good." I said and she just looked at me.

"How are you really doing Kamal?" She asked me.

I sighed.

"I don't know." I said.

"So why act like you all good when you're not? It's me you're talking to" She said.

"I know, I guess I feel as though I gotta have it all together. Especially since I got lil man. You know?" I said.

"Trust me I understand. You know I do." She said.

"Yep" I said.

"But I need you to openly heal and grow. You can't suppress everything, unless you're never gonna fully deal with it and it'll show in your actions and your demeanor." HeavenLeigh said.

"Yeah.. I know." I said smacking my lips and she laughed.

"You know what kind of man you are Kamal. You're a good man, who deserves a good woman that'll hold you to your standard. That'll match you. And you'll find that, but you know what they say. Good things take time." Heaven said.

"How much time?" I asked.

"However much time you need. When it's real, you just know. You can... Feel it." Heaven said.

I looked over at her and said "Yeah I know.."

"And you'll feel it next time." She said.

"I just need something solid. That's all I want. A real woman. I wanna be able to be proud of my woman all the time. Somebody who run through my mind field all day.." I said.

"Whewwww. Man you speaking." She said and I laughed. "You feel me?" I said.

"I feel you! But obviously the other way around." HeavenLeigh said chuckling.

"I just.. Wit Skylar I thought I knew the real, but she flipped." I said.

HeavenLeigh sighed and said "Yeah.. That was disappointing. I really thought she would be true to you. And that you guys were gonna get married and everything."
