HeavenLeigh POV

"Hey I'm out, heading to the program" Deon said as he walked over to me.

"Okay! Have a good day" I said giving him a hug.

"You too! Bye Honesty, see you later tonight" He said giving her a hug.

"Bye Deon!" She said and he laughed before heading for the door.

"Oh- Heaven! Kamal's pulling up" He said as he looked out the door.

"Oh great, leave the door unlocked for him" I said.

"Aight" Deon said as he left out, closing the door behind him.

"Here's your snacks baby, go on to the room" I said.

"Okay" She said and I gave her a kiss on her forehead before she ran off and up the stairs.

Me and Kamal have not spoke about our kiss and it's been two days so.

Gotta talk about it eventually.

I adjusted my outfit a bit, taking a deep breath when I heard him walk in the door.

"Hey.." I said and he smiled saying "Was good"

I walked over to him and gave him a hug, he hugged me back. "I uh.. I missed you." I mumbled.

"I missed you too" He said as we hugged each other tightly.

"We should probably talk about what happened.." I said to him.

"I agree" Kamal said as we walked to the couch, and we both sat down.

"I liked it." He said and I looked over at him and smiled.

"I did too." I said shyly.

"I don't know how we even got here, but.. I guess.. I just love the feeling you give me." Kamal said.

"And what feeling is that?" I asked.

"Calmness. I've always dealt with chaotic women, I used to wonder why I attracted those kind. But, you are so different cuz. You really are." He said.

"Thank you." I said with a smile.

"So, with you a nigga always feel calm. Peaceful. Laid back. It's like I'm kickin it wit a homie, lover and friend all in one" Kamal said.

"Yeah I agree. It's just.." I said.

"What?" He said.

"Don't you feel like it's kinda wrong..? I don't know. I've known you all my life, so that's what makes me feel like it isn't wrong. But also, Roddy's my ex husband, and your old best friend. So that's what makes me feel like it is wrong. I can't help how I feel about you though.. It just grew overtime. I don't know. I'm just slightly confused." I said.

"Nah I feel where you coming from. I had them same thoughts last night, when I was up thinking about you." He said.

"You were thinking about me?" I asked.

"Mhm.." He said and I blushed.

"And of course the thought of if this was wrong or not crossed my mind. Because I never viewed you in that way at all, but lately I have. And that's because we've been spending an ample amount of time together, and it just makes you realize a lot of things." Kamal said.

"Yeah, I agree. I do." I said.

"So where do we go or should we go from here?" He asked.

"I think we should.. Go slow. Figure it out along the way." I said.

"I think so too.." He said. I nodded my head, and it got quiet for a moment.

"I wanna show you something" Kamal said grabbing the notebook he brought in here.
