"You can't sit and act like you don't miss me, not even a little?" He said.

I didn't say anything.

"Or you talking to that Emmanuel guy." Roddy said and I laughed at how he said it.

So much hostility.

"No, me and him are just friends." I said chuckling.

It's nice having a male friend.

"So wassup? You don't miss a nigga at all?" Roddy asked scooting closer to me. I looked at him and he started leaning in.

I leaned all the way back and said "Roddy.."

He sighed and said "Heaven why you playing?"

"Boy I'm not playing. You just had this whole idea in your head and was hoping I'd go along with it" I said.

He laughed a little and said "I guess you right. I just.. I never lost love for you. I'm still in love with you."

I looked at him.

"You're still my angel." Roddy said.

"Roddy.." I said.

"It's facts. You are. You never stopped. When you left me, I couldn't even walk straight on my feet. Lost my best friend, somebody who meant everything and then some to me." Roddy said.

I sighed as I just looked down playing with my fingers.

"Roddy it broke my heart having to leave and file for divorce. And shattered my heart into pieces signing those divorce papers. But you pushed it there. You shoved me out the marriage. You cheated countless times, you lied to me, you abandoned our marriage. You didn't cherish me anymore." I said.

"I know. Like I said, I was lost. And I lost myself during that time, forgetting about everything I loved. Not even just you. But Kamal, and Remy. As you can see, me and Remy still haven't patched up our issues. Me and Mal did, but not me and Rem." Roddy said.

"Yeah. I know" I said.

"I just, want us to be able to fix this.. If that's possible" Roddy said.

"After everything was said and done Roddy? Really?" I said.

"I know, I know it's late HeavenLeigh and I'm sorry. But I wanted to make sure I was all the way good and got my mind back right before hand" Roddy said.

"I hear you. But right now? I like where I'm at. And where me and you are at, and I don't need that ruined by us trying a relationship again." I said.

"I'm not the same person.. Come home.." He said.

And my heart almost fluttered because of the way he said it. It was so sweet, I'm not gonna lie.

"Aww Roddy.." I said.

"Please" Roddy said grabbing my hands.

"Well first off, you have a girlfriend that you seem to be forgetting about" I said and he laughed.

"I'll deal wit her" He said.

"Mm mm, you not finna try to get me back when you're still involved with another woman. Me? I don't get down like that, and you know this so..." I said.

"I hear you baby girl." He said and I chuckled.

"And I need to think long and hard before I make such decision." I said.

"Aight, I can respect that" He said.

"Can you?" I asked.

"Absolutely." Roddy said.
