"This is quite the set up you got here, I love this" I said as me and Kamal was sitting on top of his car, ducked off.

We were far away, in nature from what it seemed like. I loved the scenery.

With snacks, he had his weed, and we brought drinks like Capri suns, waters, Gatorade's and what not.

"I figured you would, I know you're more chill and reserved and into emotional intimacy. I figured this was something you'd enjoy.." Kamal said.

"Thank you. I love it" I said with a smile as I grabbed a strawberry and put it in my mouth.

"You're welcome mama." He said to me and I blushed at how he said it.

"You mind if I..?" He trailed off grabbing the blunt he already rolled up and his lighter.

"Boy you know I don't care if you smoke" I said and he laughed.

"I just wanna be respectful cuh" He said.

"I know" I said chuckling. "I appreciate that" I added.

"Got chu" He said as he lit up his blunt and put it to his mouth. I watched him inhale it then, exhale the smoke out of his mouth and tilting his head back.

We had "N side" by Steve Lacy playing, it was just a vibe.

He put one arm around me and I blushed holding onto him.

Can't explain what it is I really feel, it just feels so peaceful. I feel like Kamal is a breath of fresh air.

He kissed my forehead and I bit the inside of my lip.

"I always wanted this.." I said.

"Wanted what?" He asked.

"Peace..." I said.

"Me too. A home, in a person." Kamal said.

I looked up at him and said "My goodness, that's something I always prayed to God for."

"Me too." Kamal said and we both smiled and he kissed my forehead again.

"You wanna hear what I wrote last night?" I asked him.

"Of course" He said.

I pulled my phone out, and went to my notes where I wrote the lyrics.

"Okay.." I mumbled clearing my throat.
