"I swear period cramps are the worse." Rose exhaled, drinking from her water bottle after she took two midols.
"Right." She whispered, thinking of when her cycle was supposed to start. It had been two weeks since she and Ja had sex.
"What's wrong, Lo?" She asked, looking at her friend through the mirror as she applied concealer on her under the eye.
"Nothing, I'm good." She gave a forced smile, before laying back on Rose's bed.
"So how did y'all's date go? It had to go good for another one"London asked trying to change the subject, as she lay upside down on Roses' bed.
after Roses and Lontrells date, he had called her today and asked if she wanted to ride around with him. She gladly obliged, always wanting to be around him or London.
"It's not a date, we're just riding around, but he was super sweet like I ain't had this before." She blushed, at the thought of her and Lontrells date.
"We went out to some fancy Italian restaurant, and then after we went for a walk in the park or whatever. He was all like this." Rose demonstrated, pulling London up from the bed as she held her hand rubbing the back of it with her thumb.
"He just kept calling me pretty and stuff, He said it was his first date officially." She blushed, sitting back down on her vanity chair, and continuing her makeup.
"Ugh, I want to be like y'all." She smiled, Scrolling through Tiktok before Ja texted her, her phone dinged making Rose quickly turn around.
"Who is that?" Rose asked, poking her lip out, and getting on the bed next to London.
"When I tell you this, don't get mad."
"oh my gosh, here go some bullshit. It betta' not have nothing to do with Jamel" Rose rolled her eyes, making London smirk and look at her through the corner of her eye.
"Are you serious? What happened?"Rose asked, throwing her leg over London's waist, completely forgetting about her makeup.
"Well, I lied to you yesterday. Ray asked to take me home but I said it was ok because he had practice, the bus and you had already left. So I just decided to walk home, and on barely three steps in this nigga pulls up and tells me to get in." She spoke, turning her face up at the situation, as Rose nodded.
