"Here," Ja said handing her the water bottle.
"Thank you." She sighed, lying in her bed as she wiped her face. He nodded, "I'm finna leave and take Mari with me, you gon be straight?" He asked, pulling his sweats up and grabbing his keys off the dresser.
"C-Can you stay with me tonight?" she asked, sitting in bed. "You really want me to stay?" He asked, raising his eyebrows at her.
"I do, just for tonight... Please."
He nodded, placing his keys and phone back on his dresser. "You want me to get Kamari?" He asked, taking off his jacket, and placing it on one of the boxes in her room.
"Uh, no she's sleeping and I don't want her to be so cranky." She laughed, knowing how her daughter would get.
He laughed, turning off the lights before getting in bed next to her.
"What you gon' do?" He asked, yawning a little. "I don't know. I felt trapped with him, plus I was also being selfish." She said, closing the lid on her water.
"What do you mean?"
London paused, biting her lip. "I felt like I needed to jump straight into a relationship to feel like I mattered again. I've been down for so long I just wanted someone to make me feel happy again." She shrugged, playing with the cover over her lap.
"Yeah?"
"Is that what you feel? That you constantly need to be in a relationship?" London asked not really wanting the attention on her.
"Something like that."
"What do you mean?"
"like I know what I want and who I want to be with for the rest of my life, i just want to have my fun for now. Probably have to slow down for my kids." He shrugged.
"Who is it?" London asked.
He smiled, his eyes low and filled with sleep. "What do you mean?" He smirked, eyeing her as he licked his lips.
"Don't play with me Jamel, who is it you wanna get married to?" She laughed, hitting his chest.
"You know the answer to that." He laughed, "I don't, We got Liyanna, Me, Jania, and any other girl that was willing to buss it open for you on the first night." London said, counting all of the names out on her fingers.
