LONDON ELISE HARPER,18

"Happy birthday, buttercup." London smiled, pecking Kamari's chubby cheeks as she played with the chains around her mother's neck; her favorite thing to do now.
"Look, it's all Minnie Mouse like you wanted." London smiled, pointing around at the decorations outside of Ja's parent's house.
They spent days and hours preparing the Minnie Mouse-themed party. "Minnie?" She asked, tilting her head to the side as she looked at her mom.
"Yeah, look at all the pretty balloons, and all of the snacks that Grandma and Tetee Niya made for you. And look at all the gifts, baby." London smiled way more excited about the party than Kamari. She played around in Kamaris curls, the front of her hair braided back with pink and white beads hanging to match the theme of the party while the back was just her natural curls.
Since it wasn't to cold, just the perfect temperature outside London dressed them both in dresses.
She looked so cute in her birthday outfit the pink polka dot dress with Minnie Mouse on the bottom, her clear glittery jelly slides covering her feet.
London wore a pink dress that had a cut out in the middle of her breast, with a bow in the middle. All the gold jewelry Damari had given to her covered her brownskin. Also, the gold jewelry Ja had given Kamari all over her. The tiny bracelet on her chubby wrist and the chain on her neck that she constantly put in her mouth.
The one-year-old smiled a little before continuing to play with the necklaces. "I can see you don't care, but mommy does. Ah, look it's Auntie Rose and..damnit." She paused as she watched Ray walk in behind her holding multiple gift bags.
"Damnit!" Kamari smiled, copying her mom's words. "No, don't say that. Mommy said a bad word." She said, waving a little as Rose made a beeline to her with a huge smile plastered across her face.
"I missed my baby. Ugh, I was going crazy without you, Happy birthday, Mari girl." Rose smiled, holding her hands out for Kamari.
The baby happily went into Rose's arms, the biggest gapped smile ever. "Ro!" She smiled, pointing between Raymond and Rose since she didn't really know how to say their names.
"What's up, baby?" Ray smiled, kissing her cheek. Kamari loudly giggled before hiding her face in her God mom's chest.
Ray smiled at Kamari before turning his attention to the mother. "What's up, you straight?" He asked, walking over to her and wrapping his arm around her shoulder. The smell of Cologne and weed lingered on him. But it smelt so good on him.
