Mondays were always a tough day for London as she had to take care of her siblings and force her mom to go to work. However, this week was different as her siblings were spending time with their grandma until Wednesday, giving her a much-needed break for two days.
Despite the short break, she was happy and relieved. Unfortunately, her happiness was short-lived when she saw Ja early in the morning. He offered to take her to school, so she wouldn't have to walk or take the bus alone with the excuse of wanting to protect her.
Although she didn't want to ride the bus, she also didn't want to see him. Yet, she allowed her mind to overcome her discomfort.
Currently, she was sitting in her world history class, feeling restless and bored. Her teacher seemed disinterested in what they were doing, and she couldn't help but watch the time slowly tick by on her phone. She started to bounce her leg up and down, hoping that class would be over soon.
"I really don't like this class. It's so annoying and frustrating," Rose complained, scrolling through her phone and rolling her eyes.
"Ro, you think you could do my hair this week?" she asked, checking her appearance in the camera. She fluffed up her ponytail and eagerly awaited Rose's response. "Ou yes! I've been wanting to do your hair for a while," Rose exclaimed, throwing her hands up in excitement.
"I just want two ponytails with a swoop," she said, laughing at Rose's playful demeanor. "That's no problem at all. I'm actually looking for more clients. I'm getting tired of just doing Lontrell's retwists. He's so annoying and tender-headed," Rose said, rolling her eyes and making London laugh.
"What happened now?" she chuckled, placing her head in her hands to look at Rose better. "He got me fucked up because he watched our show without me." she pouted, making London bust out laughing.
"You can't get mad at him for that, you did that shit to me." she laughed, rolling her eyes at Rose. "I know baby mama, but you didn't even like that show." she huffed, rubbing her hands down London's thigh.
"Yes I did, you made me watch Empire and Star all by myself. I didn't even finish Star all the way though," she spoke, shrugging her shoulders. "We can finish it then." she smiled.
"Alright, but I have my appointment later today," she said, looking through her booked calendar.
"Is your mom going with you? Or just Ja?" she asked, turning to face London in her seat.
