"Happy Birthday to you!" The three girls finished up their picnic, Lonodn smiled wiping the grass off Damari's headstone. Since today was Damaris' birthday, Angel, Debora, and London; Also Kamari. They wanted to do something small and simple for him.

Today the girls would be celebrating his 20th birthday, it didn't even feel real to any of them. They had made it into another year without him. It was hard for his sister because her birthday was in February, this was the first time she didn't wake up to her brother bursting into her room with gifts and his love for her.

She was instantly cheered up by Debora and London giving her that same love he always gave her on her special day. So did they, they loved and treated London like she was their own.

Speaking of, when London came back from her trip to Kentucky she came back to a 30-day eviction notice on the front door, and Lauren was nowhere to be found.

Even though she and Lauren weren't on speaking terms, she still could've sent a text or something. She knew she would never rekindle with her mom. Not only did she basically put London in potential danger but she also put Kamari in danger.

She didn't care where they lived, nor did she care if they were safe. She just cared about her and the new 'man' she had.

But London being the proactive woman she was, found a way for her child and herself. She wanted to be by herself but she didn't have the funds for it. She didn't want to be a bother to anyone, however, one day Debora texted her one day to see how she was holding up.

London couldn't hold it in, she was very stressed. She was beyond scared for them both. She had 30 days to figure everything out and time and money were running out. She really hated asking but with Debora, she felt safe.

Like home.

Right before the lease was up, she helped London pack up all of her stuff selling what they didn't need, and moved London and Kamari right on in. To London she didn't miss a thing, she was happier than anything. She finally had gotten free of her mother's toxicity and the overwhelming pressure that came with that apartment.

And to Debora, she was happy to help London at any time. She looked at the girl like a daughter. She was the only other person in the world who could feel some of the pain she was feeling from losing her son.

There was a lot of places London could've went, Rose being the first on her list. But since she was moving already to Atlanta, Since Rose was a senior now and 18. She got to do what she wanted now.
