"I just wanna' chill with you for my birthday," Dee answered, looking up at London as she took out his two-strand twist. He sat on one of the stools in the kitchen as she stood behind him.
His birthday was nine days away, he was released from the hospital two days ago. The doctors said he would have to take things easy until his wound was fully healed.
Of course, he didn't really pay attention to them at first. But after getting yelled at by his mom and London, he was listening.
He just hoped he was healed before his birthday. He really wanted to spend his day with London.
"Yeah? do you know what you want?" She asked, trying to hide the smile on her face.
"you." He smirked, London laughed placing her hand on her lower back. She took a couple of deep breaths before trying to continue.
"Sit down, why do you keep doing that, baby?" He asked, standing up; towering over her. "Just let me finish, sit back down." she rolled her eyes, and he sighed pulling his jeans up before picking her up bridal style. She just let him do it, since her feet actually did hurt so did her back.
He walked them over to the couch, sitting her down. He sat down in between her legs, "You smell good." He mumbled, massaging her feet. "Thank you, mari." She laughed, as he began to scroll on his phone. "You ain't answer my question, what do you want for your birthday?"
"I did, I want you."
she chuckled, rolling her eyes slightly. Her phone dinged, and she sighed due to her phone being on the table in front of Damari.
"Can you hand me that?" She asked, he grabbed her phone off the table. Jerking his head back as he read the message on her phone.
"Baby, why is he texting you like this?" He asked, turning her phone so she would see. Her heart instantly stopped once he showed her. "Like what?" She asked.
"Saying shit like "I love you." and that he misses you?" He asked, scrunching his face up as he scrolled through the messages. "I don't know, That's just the way he talks to me." She shrugged.
"Why you ain't tell me nothing?" He asked, pulling up his pants. "I ain't think it was a big deal," she mumbled, crossing her arms over her chest.
"A big deal? Baby, I understand that's the baby's father. But this shit isn't cool." He chuckled, shaking his head. "I don't know what you want me to do. I can't control what he says to me," she mumbled.
