"I love you, honey bun. I'll see you later ok?" London kissed all over Kamari's face as she held the bottle up for herself. She whined, pushing London's head out of the way of the TV screen. "You so rude to me," London laughed, shaking her head.
Kaari laid on the bed behind Kamari, trying to stuff a toy in her mouth. "Hold on, kaari. You can't eat this, baby girl." she chuckled.
She smiled at the baby once she held her arms up for London to pick her up. london cooed at her, pecking her up and holding her on her hip.
"Where is y'all's daddy." She asked no one in particular, grabbing her phone.
"You finna leave us?" Ja asked as he walked into the guest room. "Don't say it like that." London laughed, trying to hand Kaari off to her dad.
She whined, holding on tightly to London's shirt. "Kamari was just being mean to me, how does that work." London laughed, rubbing her back as she placed her head on London's chest.
"Mari just loves her Daddy more, ain't that right, princess." He said, walking over to the one-year-old and kissing her all over her face just like London; but this time she let him do it giggling loudly.
London playfully rolled her eyes, and Ja laughed at her. He stood close to her, kissing her cheek.
"Don't be jealous, Kaari loves you." He chuckled, placing his free hand on her waist and pulling her back.
Her breath hitched, feeling him pressed up against her. He took his phone out of his pocket. "Take our picture."
"Of you three?" She asked, taking the phone as she raised her eyebrow.
"Nah, you're in it too." He pulled her back, She shrugged, snapping a few pictures of them all together.
In a few of the pictures, he would kiss her cheek, or put his face close to hers. She couldn't lie it felt good being like this with him.
But she wasn't looking for a relationship right now. So this had to stay where it was.
"she's tired, and I need to go," London said, looking down at Kaari as she yawned. "Where do you need to be? You gotta spend the day with us tomorrow." He said, placing Kamari back down on the bed next to Kaari.
"I'm flying out to South Carolina tomorrow, I'll be back Saturday though." She yawned, picking up her purse and keys.
"Mhm, let me walk you out." He said, "Who's watching the girls?"
"Niya, watch them for me, while I walk her out." He said to Niya as she walked out of her room.
"C'mon, no more excuses now." He said, grabbing her hand as they walked down the stairs.
