LIYANNA MAYA JONHSON, 23

"But it's not fair, mama." Liyanna rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest. For what seemed like the millionth time.
Liyanna was back complaining to Jamie about her issues with her son. Usually, Jamie would try to hear Liyanna's side of the problem and then speak to her son.
Although, she just heard a bunch of blabbering about London and Ja's relationship. She hated hearing it every week, especially in front of her granddaughters.
And it was a new year, a new month, she was tired of it. But she wasn't saying her son wasn't at fault because she wouldn't be hearing it if it wasn't for him.
"Like I put up with all his bullshit, and he can't even get Kaari for an extra day when I always do it?"Ja and Liyanna had been in each other's lives since freshman year, they were each other's first everything. She wondered how he could just throw everything down the drain like that.
"I don't know what to tell you, I cannot control what that boy does, Liy." Jamie shrugged, And his mother loved her dearly. But there was only so much she could do.
He was grown he didn't have to listen to his mother as much; especially in his relationships.
She treated London and Liyanna the same, she loved them both because they gave her grandkids. But the relationship they had with Ja was their business.
"I get what you're saying, but it seems like he listens to everyone else." She groaned, she was very tired of saying the same shit over and over.
She didn't want drama anymore, but she was still looking for that love. They had known each other for so long, she couldn't just flush that down the toilet. She would forever love Ja, he gave her Kaari. Her first child.
"Have you talked to London? Is she going through the same stuff?" She asked. If she knew London went through this as well she would feel a lot better, at least knowing she wasn't in it alone.
"No, Not really. Ask her at the party later, don't start anything though. I know how y'all two get." She huffed, rolling her eyes.
Jamie knew exactly what was going on between London and Ja, it just wasn't her place to tell. She didn't want anyone's word coming back on her.
"I won't," She waved the older lady off. Since Ja's family was throwing a party for his younger sister's graduation. She was just going to calmly ask then, maybe not what Jamie had in mind. But Liyanna had some questions she needed answers to.
Whether that was from London or Ja.
"C'mon, let's go put on this pretty dress, Kaari girl." Jamie smiled, holding her hand out for Kaari trying to end the conversation as quickly as possible. Liyanna was pissed about a few things, but the main thing was Ja and London; still.
