"I miss my baby girl." London pouted, rolling her eyes as she sat in the backseat of the truck.
"Don't ruin my night by saying allat, I brought yo' ass here to have fun. Damn." Ray said, shaking his head as he took the blunt from Rose.
"And you stop taking my shit, gettin' all that lipgloss on my shit. Don't even know how to do it." He groaned, rolling his eyes and smashing the blunt out.
"who pissed in your cereal this morning?" Rose asked, jerking her head back as she leaned against Lontrell's shoulder.
"Y'all are the worst people to go out with, got a mom in her feelings, and two couples in the backseat that don't know what they want." He cut his eyes at London staring at the pictures Jamie had sent her and looking back at Rose boo'd up with her man while Jamel did the same with Liyanna.
Since tonight was the last night they would be spending out there in Kentucky they all thought it would be best to spend their new years out of the house having some fun.
A couple of Ja's friends were having a party at their frat house for New Years and invited him and a few of his friends.
Being a mom, London's sense of fun was spending tummy time with Kamari as cartoons played on the TV.
And if she did have to go out with friends, that didn't include two people she wasn't technically besties with right now.
After Christmas London, Ja, and Liyanna hadn't spoken unless it was about Kamari. Well, she hadn't spoken with Liyanna personally.
"Why you ain't bring yo' girl?" London asked, turning her phone off as Ray drove with one hand on the wheel.
He laughed, rubbing his hand down his face. "I just didn't want to be cramped up in the house with all y'all. So I got me a hotel down the street and said that I had a shawty down here." He chuckled.
"I don't know no one down here in this boring ass state." He finished, "You really lied? You could've just stayed it wasn't even packed." London laughed.
"Nah, plus Rose's annoying ass was there. I needed some time to myself." He shrugged, turning down a street.
"I get that." She said, "Shut up y'all! This is my shit!" Rose yelled, leaning over the console to turn up the song lightly playing in the background.
