Haley's point of view*
It was the summer holidays and I was out with my friends. Not really in the best mood though.

"Haley, babe did you hear!?" My best friend Michelle popped up in front of me. "They said Blake's ex girlfriend is back in town."

"I thought he had like millions of girlfriends?" I asked confused. "What's everyone making a fuss about?"

"Ohhh she's different, that's his first girlfriend" she turned on her gossip mode. "I heard they were childhood friends and they were together for a long time until, well I'm not sure but I think one of them cheated and I'm guessing it's Blake. But then still, she was his first girlfriend so, you know it's probably a big deal for him." She tried to catch her breath after having tried saying everything in one breath.

I stared at the floor, feeling a little down. I know we're not a thing yet, and I know about his reputation. Maybe I shouldn't have expected too much. Like what makes me different from all the girls he dated, even more so, his first love.

I think Michelle figure out that I was a little down, "oh my God I'm sorry, have you guys started dating!? I mean I'm sure these are just rumour you know. Even if it's true, you can find such a better man."

I chuckled a little, "No we're not together yet. But thanks for the information, I really needed to know."

Since that night, which I'm assuming the girl that came the other night was Heather, Blake hasn't called or texted me, he even skipped school for these two days. Guess I hoped for more than I should.

Emma's point of view*
"Hey Em you saw Blake?" Sean asked as he came home.

"I think he went out." I said while finding a snack in the fridge.

"With.... Heather?"

"Heather? Who's Heather? Is she the girl that came by that night?" I asked all confused.

"She came by?" He asked looking shocked. "Tall, brunette, perfect face?"

"I uhh guess so. Who is she?" I finally asked.

"Damn can't believe she's back." He grabbed the chocolate bar in my hand and ate it and went into deep thought.

"Hey that's mine." I complained while getting another one from the fridge. "Now you gotta tell me who is she."

"Well she, is his ex girlfriend." He took a bite of that chocolate.

"He had many didn't he?" Also taking a bite.

"Yea to be specific she was his first girlfriend. You should take a seat. It's a long story." He sat down.

My sight fixated on him wanting to know every detail about this story.

"So Blake first met Heather when he was 15. Heather was a year older than him. He said he always saw her jogged pass our house in the morning. Apparently she lives a few block away. Anyways he finally met her at a party one day. After that day he went head over heels for her. Since that day he mentions her in almost every of his conversations. Kept telling us stuff like how he met the perfect girl, how great she was. Never seen him like that so I guess sure he probably just have a small crush or something. And just so you know he was a really nice boy before. A real gentlemen even.

Anyways, he pursued her for months and finally, they became official. I mean he was a good looking little kid, loaded, who doesn't want that. I remembered how happy he was though, it was crazy. And did you know among us, he was the one who coped well after Chloe's passing. He comforted us and all. And we all just knew it was because of Heather. She was really important to him and he knew he cannot just break apart, start blaming the world and hate everything. He was keeping it together for her, because of her. He brought her back quite often, we all knew her, and uh she was great I have to say. She got along really well with all of us. And I have to repeat this again Blake was really really into her. Like REALLY. I'd say he was simping for her so much at that time. They were great, But then, some time about a year ago, Blake started hearing rumours from his friends that they saw Heather with a another guy. At first it was just the rumours spreading, he didn't take it seriously. But then pictures of Heather kissing another guy just started spreading throughout the school. It was with another guy in Heather's grade. But Blake just didn't believed the pictures. He even flipped his friends off for showing him the pictures. He wanted to believe that there's a reasonable explanation. But then Heather just didn't come to school for the week. He tried texting and calling but no news from her at all.

Until a few weeks later, apparently she changed her phone number and stuff, he saw on her social media. So Heather, she went and study abroad..... with the guy she kissed in the pictures, her new boyfriend. We don't even know like why she was being all secretive about it. But it seems that Blake was the only one who didn't know. She had planned to study abroad all along, as later told by her friends. All her friends knew she was going only Blake was kept in the dark. Then it made a little sense to me when some of her friends then expressed that they didn't even know she was dating Blake. She probably just treated him like a little admirer or something, in other words she wasn't looking for anything serious. Just a little boyfriend that she can change anytime.

That few weeks where Blake couldn't reach her, he was close to depressed. And when he did, we all thought he'd go crazy if what we knew was a fact. That she wasn't serious with their relationship, went abroad to study without even telling him and even worse, had a new lover. Weirdly enough, he was calm. He just stayed quiet, didn't talk to us for about a week. Then a week later he just went back to normal. Like nothing happened. Talked and joked with us like always. However one thing changed, he became a total douche. Playboy. He changed girlfriends like changing clothes. Bringing back different girls. It's like he was numb, didn't care who that girl was anymore if it wasn't Heather.

*sighs*

Heather probably broke him or something. He was really respectful back then.

Well that's about it."

Sean then got up and left, leaving me there to process this whole story. Judging from all the hearts he broken, damn who knew Blake had his heart broken as well. But he did seem serious about that Haley girl. Who knows.

Blake's point of view*
"Hey." I tried to hold my calm as Heather came in.

"Hey, sorry I'm late." Heather gently said as she pulled out the chair in front of me.

This scene was just like our first date, I was feeling nostalgic for a moment. Always hoping and wondering if things would be able to be just like before, but deep down I knew it was impossible.

"I uh called you out to talk. About us." I said trying to sound as emotionless as possible.

"Look, Blake, as I've said before I'm really really sorry about what happened. I'm sorry I didn't call, I'm sorry I just left. And here we are, you remember this is where we had our first date right." She just went on and on.

"Yes," I cut her off. "I'm mad at you for ditching me and keeping me in the dark, for making me look like a fool. I was mad. But not anymore alright. I'm trying my best to get over it."

"Well, you did ask me out today, that must mean something right, that you still care." She slowly put her hand on mine.

I quickly pulled back. "Look Heather, I met a girl that I really like. Yes I might have not gotten closure from you, or might never completely forget about you, ever, but things have changed. You're not the one for me anymore alright. You were, until you blew it. You! Not me!"

She scoffed, "Are you serious Blake? Which girl? Last week's? Last month's? You're obviously not over me just admit it."

"She's different. She makes me want to be a better person. Wow now I'm sounding cheesy."

"Oh that's what you say, really? Have you looked at her? Like actually looked at her? And tell me she does not look one bit like me? She's obviously a replacement of me. She's like, like a mini me come on. But you don't need her. I'm back Blake. I'm back for good this time and I'm not going anywhere." Heather poured her heart out.

I couldn't deny the similarities between them. But I knew Haley was nothing like her, she actually values our relationship.

"Look, whatever, the past is in the past. I'm here to make things clear that things are over between us. For real this time. Please don't come look for me. I just don't want you in my life anymore. I've met someone else and I'm in it for the long haul." I finished my speech, stood up and walked away.

Honestly I was proud of myself.
