Guys I kinda started this story coz I was bored. So I'm sorry for renewing so slow. Thinking of storyline. And didn't know people would actually read. Sorry🤦‍♀️

Ashley then wrapped a towel around me and helped me to my room. She was like the big sister I never had. She made sure I was fine.

"Don't worry, I'm gonna go teach that spoiled kid a lesson." She patted my head and left.

Ashley's point of view-
"Alex what was that?" I stormed outside the poolside, sat beside Alex and demanded an answer seeing how he treated his sister.

He ignored me.

"I am not going anywhere until I get an answer!" I was getting impatient. "Who's to say you won't treat me like how you treated her. Look I've seen how you treat her. I know you and you aren't like that especially to your family. So why do you hate your sister so much?"

He stayed quiet for some time.

"Step, sister." He suddenly said and looked down.

"That's a good beginning and explains a lot." I held his hand.

He then told me about his sister, Chloe. Then about the remarriage, how Emma reminded him of Chloe and felt like she replaced her.

I gently put my head on his shoulder. I felt closer to Alex than ever knowing he could trust me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know how much you've been through. I know how sad you must've felt, but Emma must not be feeling any better with how you treated her right?" I smiled at him understandably.

"Well I..."

"It's ok, you don't have to say anything."

He looked at me for a moment, then let out a genuine smile. "I'm sorry you had to see that."

We both stayed quiet as I lie on his shoulder and stared at the beautiful night sky.

Emma's point of view-
I made my way to Geography as Lexi came up to me.

"Hey I heard you blew off the party. And not just any party, the best one. Why didn't you tell me you're going? Lexi whispered to me excitedly.

"I.. I thought you didn't like them."

"I never said I hate them. I mean they're cool right?" She told me. "And really handsome other than the fact that they're a little mean." She whispered then laughed.

It's disgusting thinking how hot my stepbrothers are. I mean they're hot, like really hot, that's undeniable, but when we live under a same roof, let's just say you'll feel different.

I made my way to my lockers after class. Next second, I was on the floor after being tripped by someone's foot. I groaned in pain as all my books scattered over the floor.

"Hope you like that you party pooper." Some guy i think went to the party mocked. Followed by laughers by his group of friends. "I could've gotten into her pants that night!"

I kept quiet and slowly pick up my scattered notes and books. Same old me, not able to stand up for myself. Before I got up, a cold feeling went down my head. I gasped loudly and fell backwards. I lifted my head up to see a girl pouring her milkshake on my head.

"Hope you like that as well." She smirked then laughed away with her friends.

I quickly placed my stuff in my lockers and rushed to the toilet to clean my hair up. It was all sticky and disgusting. I looked in the mirror at myself and let out a deep sigh.
