A new year, nothing has changed though. I walked down the lively, noisy school hallway filled with a bunch of confused teens. Like always people were still chattering, laughing, sticking with their own cliques. It was just as most high schools. My life hasn't changed much. Some threw crumpled paper at me as I passed by. But I was never prepared for what was to come today.
I squinted my eyes trying to adapt to the bright light as my blindfold was taken off. A hard slap came across my face without any mercy. But what hurt more than that was the moment I saw Lexi standing in-front of me. Why did she slap me? How could she slap me? Aren't we friends? A million thoughts rushed through my mind.
As school was over, I was grabbed by some girls, blindfolded then dragged to the back alley of the school and thrown on the ground.
"I should've known you're a two faced bitch." Lexi said to me after slapping me. "Kathy told me at first but I didn't believe her." She scoffed. "How stupid was I. There's obviously a reason why everyone hate you. And now I know."
My worst nightmare came true. Kathy managed to turn my friends against me.
"Wh.. what are you talking about." I asked feeling confused at the whole situation.
"Just stop pretending." Lexi exclaimed. "You told everyone about my sister!" Tears welled up in her eyes. I could see she was hurting. But it wasn't me.
"I didn't tell anyone. I swear." I defended. "I would never."
"Ugh seriously just stop." Kathy pushed me causing me to stumble. "You told me about her sister remember?" She lied.
"Stop lying!" I shouted as I turned to Lexi. "You must believe me. Please I did not."
She rolled her eyes and looked away. Then Jessica dragged me away from Lexi as she, Kathy and a couple other girls started beating me up. They started punching me. Pushing me and dragging me around, even causing my sweater to tear.
"Lexi don't be sad, we'll help you teach her a lesson." Kathy pretentiously said. "This isn't enough fun."
Then she put her hand out and one of the girl handed her a couple rolls of tape.
Shoot.
I was already on the floor as I started backing up quickly until I hit the wall. As I terrifyingly looked upwards, I saw Kathy's evil smile as they charged towards me. I could only helplessly beg them to let me go. I was then taped to the pole, completely immobilised. All of them were laughing and continued to throw stuff at me. They threw eggs and a few even threw stones at me. Except I couldn't move and could only receive it with my face. Some drew on my face and took picture. Then they continued punching me and kicking me but it was worse because I couldn't even do the least as to defend myself, to cover my face as the punch came. My face and body has bruises, cuts and wounds all over. It felt like I was going to pass out any moment. Kathy then walked towards me with a smirk on her face and started twirling my hair teasingly.
"You have great hair huh." Immediately then she cracked an egg on my head, further humiliating me.
I gasped loudly as I kept my eyes shut to prevent it from going into my eyes.
"Ew, something stinks so bad." She covered her nose as she insulted me. "It smells like rubbish and rotten eggs."
Everyone laughed at my pathetic situation while all I could do was look down and cry myself.
While everything was happening, someone passed by. Someone I thought could help me escape this misery. Ryan. I quickly shouted for help.
"Ryan, please. Help me. Please. Please." I kept on pleading.
