Just then we heard the sound of a car pulling up outside. Blake quickly pulled me back up. I was choking my life out at the side of the pool, soaked. Dad and Rose entered.

Blake whispered to me, "you're lucky this time, but this is so not fucking over."

"Hi guys we're back." Rose walked in happily to see us. Then she saw me drenched. "What happened honey?"

"She went for a swim." Blake quickly reacted.

"In your clothes?" She asked confused.

I nodded to not cause any more trouble to myself. Then throughout the rest of the day, Blake kept shooting me glares or reminding me what's gonna happen if Rose and dad went out.

"Honey," dad called me out privately. "Look, I've spent so much time on my work so this weekend, will just be me and you alright?" He ruffles my hair.

"Don't mess my hair up." I complained and slowly let out a smile and nodded. Dad laughed too.

During dinner, Blake leaned in and whispered, "Just you wait. You and I both know they won't stay long until some other work stuff pops up and they'll leave." Then he moved back to his place and continued eating like nothing happened.

*boop*
A notification I assume from Rose's phone popped up. She looked at it and her face suddenly turned serious.

"Guys, I am so so sorry." She turned to my dad. "Mike we have to go. That agreement was signed but-"

I didn't continue hearing what she was saying. Blake was unto me the whole day. What wicked plans he has for me the second dad and Rose set foot out the door.

"Dad?" I looked over at him hoping he doesn't have to go.

I was terrified and I hated how much they scared me.

"I'm really sorry, maybe next time. We really have to settle this." He firmly said.

"Sean drive them back tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. It's already late today. Boys, take care of you sister."

"Step, step sister you mean." Blake corrected.

"Blake! I don't have time to deal with this. You sir, are grounded a week. And the others, please don't create any troubles." Rose and dad dashed out the door.

"Oh you got grounded more in a month than I probably did in a year." Andrew laughed and went upstairs.

"I didn't say that, but still, I really want to laugh at you." Alex shook his head and laughed as well.

"At least you know who to blame." Jay pointed at me. "That bitch." He scoffed.

Blake turned and glared at me. "You just had to come into our life and ruin it."

"That's quite a strong statement." Sean said inattentively while scrolling through this phone.

"Shut up Sean." Blake yelled.

"Whatever." Sean didn't look away from his phone.

"Let's continue where we left off alright." He charged at me and picked me up without breaking a sweat. I could see he was going towards the pool. Again. As if I haven't had enough trauma from just now.

"I... I... I'm really sorry." I tried to produce words out of my terrified body while my legs kicking around aimlessly.

"Woah what are you doing."

"I.." I blurted the next thing that maybe shouldn't been said at this time. "I.. I know you're angry because you think it's my fault about-

"Emma." Sean tried to stop me but I continued.
