Emma's point of view-
I ran home after school straight to my room into the bathroom. I stared in the mirror as tells flow down my face. I've been here before. Jay told me I killed my mom not long after I met him. And now it was the whole school. I was constantly reminded that I'm the cause my mom died. I looked down at the blade I'm carrying.

Andrew's point of view-
I went home feeling down to the dumps.

"Hey, how'd your little date went?" Alex asked me looking all pumped up.

"Well, she turns out she's cheating on me." I threw my bag on the floor and sank into the couch.

"Wait what the fuck. So you dumped her?" Alex asked me sounding quite angry.

"No, she dumped me." I buried my face in my hands.

"Hey, it's ok. Come on, are there any girls you can't get out there?" Alex tried to comfort me.

"What's this, you guys turned gay?" Blake asked as he sat on the couch.

"I might now." Andrew said in a muffled voice.

"They broke up." Alex said.

Blake then stared at me for a moment, "whatever never really liked that girl. Besides that, it's just a girl bro. Get another one." He simply said.

"Look, Im not like you and I actually like her. Just because some girl broke your heart, doesn't mean you should go around breaking other girl's. So I'm not gonna be like you." I shouted in frustration.

Blake looked down with a complexed face.

"Whatever I'm gonna go talk to Emma she home?" I asked as I made my way upstairs.

"Yep in her room." Alex replied.

I gently knocked on Emma's door but got no reply.

"I'm coming in ok?" I said but still receive no response. So I slowly opened the door. As I entered, I found the room empty so I assumed she was in the half opened toilet.

"Emma, can you come out?" I asked, she said nothing but I heard ruffling noises inside like she was messing up something.

From the peek I saw she was just standing in front of the sink so I opened the door and went inside. As I did, my jaw dropped from the shock of what I saw. There was blood everywhere and she was trying to clean it up in a rush. She quickly turned over and stare at me in shock while covering up her wound.

"I... I fell down.. no no no I um..." she stuttered. "wh.. why did you come in?" She suddenly raised her voice. "You should've knocked."

"I... I did." I replied. "What happened?"

"N.. nothing. Please just go out." She went back to cleaning up the sink.

"Uh Sean, Sean! Blake!" I shouted for them. "Uh c... come in Emma's room."

"No, don't call them and d.. don't tell my dad too please." She pleaded.

"Uh Sean? Quick." I shouted as I looked at her with concern.

"No, no don't. Just... just get out. Get out." She started pushing me, hitting me. I quickly held both her hands as she struggled.

"Get out, get out, get out." She continued shouting and hitting me. It was like she's having a nervous breakdown or something I really don't know. I've never really seen her like this. Her voice slowly breaking off and she broke down in tears. I pulled her into a hug not knowing what else to do at the moment. She tried to get out of at first but then gave up and just cried into my shoulder. We were both sitting on the floor as Sean and Blake arrived at Emma's room, she slowly pulled out of the hug.

Three of us stared at Emma. I looked down and saw three cuts on her wrist that she tried to cover.

"Emma are you ok?" Blake asked.

"Yea yea it's uh nothing." She wiped her tears away.

"How is this nothing." I grabbed her hand and pulled up her sleeves exposing her cuts. She quickly roll her sleeves back down. "I said it's nothing."

Sean looked at her concerned. He sighed as he walked over and bent down. "Did you cut yourself? And don't lie to me Emma."

"Please don't tell dad and Rose please. Please." Her eyes starts tearing up again. "I won't do it again. I... I'll try."

We each gave looks to each other.

"Ok we won't tell them. But if you do it again, just, just don't ok?" Sean told her seriously.

She nodded and wiped of her tears. Blake helped wrapped up her wounds as she winced in pain. I stared at her, knowing this pain, not just the physical but emotionally pain she's in, I've contributed tons to it. If there's someone there for her, she may not be hurting herself. Guilt overwhelmed me as I swore to myself that I'd protect her from everything.

Emma's point of view-
After the night of chaos, I tucked myself into my bed. Just then, it started raining. I've been scared of thunders and lightning all my life. So it gave me a hard time sleeping. I'd jump every time a lightning strikes. Just then, Andrew knocked on my door then opened the door.

"You're not asleep yet?" He gently asked while resting his head on the door frame.

"I can't sleep." I rubbed my sleepy eyes. "I fricking hate thunders and lightning. And what are you doing here?"

He smiled at me, "I uh, came to check on you. So you ok? Can I uh..... accompany you for the night?" He asked me timidly.

I paused a moment then chuckled,"Since when have you become so soft. Sure, this bed's got plenty of space." I smiled back.

He laid down beside me. There was a moment of silence before he started, "I'm sorry Emma, for never treating you like my sister...... The horrible I've things I've done to you."

I turned at him and smiled, "it's all good. Also uh... do you not feel disgusted about me."

"Why?"

"I cut myself."

He sighed, "look at me, you're nice, you're really cute. The only thing I'm disgusted is how I treated you." He looked at me guilty. "Everything me and others said, just ignore them."

"Anyways good night." He ruffled my hair and gave me the warmest smile. Gosh all the brothers are really good looking. Him sleeping beside me made me feel much safer and secure.
