Ominis

(Ominis)

As I sit next to Sebastian in Ancient Runes. The bell sounds and we are dismissed.  I take out my wand and then I hear him yawning next to me as we walk out of the classroom.

"Late night again? I noticed you weren't in the dorm this morning... "I say to Sebastian as we walk to Transfiguration.

"Oh ... I uhm. I wound up falling asleep in the Undercroft, studying."

"Do you think I'm Dim Sebastian? It's okay if you don't want to tell me the truth but I know your lying. You were with Athena weren't you? I'm never going to look at the Undercroft the same again."

"Ominis, no we didn't. We did hang out. She told me she was thinking of leaving Hogwarts to study her Ancient Magic further. It's getting stronger Ominis. We have to watch her and just make sure she's okay."

Ominis sighs "I can understand her wanting to further her study though. It must be hard not really understanding your magic... however she definitely needs to finish school first so that she can .. you know make money and survive."

Sebastian grabs me before we enter the classroom "that's exactly what I told her... kind of. If she comes to you about this, just tell her exactly what you said to me!"

Ominis rolls his eyes "Wow Sebastian... that was insightful. Your such a Genius."

"Are you guys talking about me? Because if so I am completely honored but I'd definitely like to get to class on time and you two are blocking the entrance." I turn as I heard Athena speak.

"Athena, no we were just talking about how Sebastian is a Genius and wants to be late for everything like he always is." I say trying to change the subject.

"Hey you git, I'm definitely a genuine genius everyone should listen to all the time." Sebastian says and I feel his heart rate go up as he talks to Athena.

We walk into the Classroom for Transfiguration. Between the two of them, I hear both of there hearts racing, it's very distracting. I just need them to start dating so I don't have to hear him moaning and groaning about other guys talking to her.

I mean honestly what does he expect?

She's to nice for her own good which I love and hate about her. She is very good with her words, she an extraordinary Witch. Her magic is impeccable...

I've never had eyes for her, in fact I'm sort of angry at her for helping Sebastian time and time again when I told her yo come to me if he was up to something. Which she never did.

Being at the Gaunt Manor was horrible. Marvolo my older brother decided he wanted to come to the manor for the summer break. Before he came home I was able to convince my parents to talk to the people at the ministry to say that the cause of Solomon's death was of natural causes. As they are older and more grumpy, they were annoyed by my request. Told me I had to write the letter but they would sign it and I'd have to send it off.

I did exactly that.

Hopefully the ministry doesn't look into it anymore.

Once Marvolo arrived, that was the end for me. I had to write Sebastian. The things my brother was doing to the poor muggles....

I ran. I ran to the Sallows as quickly as I could. I grabbed whatever money I could find in my bedroom and left. I had been saving my money for a long time now. I know the Gaunts are running low on family Funds.

Once I was with Anne, I felt a relief even though she was grieving.

She wasn't just grieving her Uncle, she was grieving the loss of her brother.

In her mind it was more easy for her to pretend he died along with her uncle.

(Summer)

"Anne, I've been talking to Sebastian alot. It sounds as if he's doing better maybe? He sounds different. For your health, I think you should just talk to him... lay it out flat to him. Wouldn't that be better than the silence treatment? Your getting worst by the day Anne, please." I say pleading with her tears in my eyes.

"He Deserves to suffer for what he did Ominis. He killed Uncle Solomon!!!! He took such good care of both of u-"

"You know got very abusive towards Sebastian."

"That was only when he didn't listen about my cure Ominis."

"Please Anne, he really regrets what he did to Solomon. Your his twin. You are all he has left. You feelings are valid Anne, if you don't want to that's fine. I would never force you to do something you don't want to do." I take her hand in mine.

She takes a breath in and squeezes my hand. "I'm dying Ominis. I really am. I will talk to him one last time.... For you." I take the back of her hand and kiss it.

"I will write to him, asking him to come home." I say with a smile.

(Back at school)

Sebastian pulls me from my trance "Ominis are you alright mate?" Sebastian says very quietly.

"Oh yeah, must of dozed off for a moment." I say coughing a little.

"Class is almost over mate, don't worry I paid attention. I'll fill you in later. It wasn't anything import really." Sebastian says snarky.

"I'll make sure I'll Ask Athena about the lesson then. I'm sure you weren't paying attention either." I say smirking at him.

"Me not paying attention? Why Ominis that is just simply not true. I pay attention to everything all of the time. Nothing gets past me. Weren't we just saying what a genius I was?" He says sarcastically.

"Maybe at dueling." I say nudging him.

"So you do think I'm a Genius!"

"Your a git."

"Class is dismissed! I want a 12 inch paper on the banishing spell by Monday!" Professor Ronan says loudly.
