I Love You

(Ominis)

Sebastian and Athena left the common room and left Anne and I alone.

I feel Anne's breathing. "Anne how have you been feeling?" I feel her eyes burning into my back.

"You know I hate when you ask me that." She takes my hand.

"Anne, we're going to find a cure. Not with any dark magic I promise you."

"Ominis.."

"Anne I'm in love with you." I feel her stop breathing for a moment "Anne I'm sorry I just needed you to know. I don't care about some curse. We'll find an answer. As someone close to me has told me, you only have one life to live. And I want to spend it with you." I put my hand up to Anne's face and feel tears "oh no Anne Don't cry, my dear, no I didn't mean to make you cry you don't have to love me back it's okay."

Just then I feel her lips press against mine. Wow I have waited so long for this moment. Ever since we hit our fourth year, she has always sparked my interest. Living with Sebastian and her over the summer didn't help much either. She has such a beautiful soul.

"Ominis your asking for heart break here. There isn't a cure. It's inevitable what's going to happen. You being with me will only hurt you in the end. I can't hurt you Ominis. It's to much of a risk." Anne says resentfully.

I sign "Any risk is worth it being able to be with you." I take her face and kiss her again. "Please Anne, let me give you the best life. It would be an honor for me." I feel a smile on her face.

"Ominis." She says breathlessly.

"Yes my love" I say smiling.

"how long have you known?"

"Known?"

"Known you loved me." 

I breath "it was right before fourth year started at your house, we were sitting outside at night, Sebastian was already sleeping. You told me that..."

"that I wanted a small house by the water, one or two kids, have some beast to take care of to have things to sell. A simple but beautiful life." She interrupts me.

"I want to give you that life Anne. I always have. From that day forward. I would Marry you right now if you let me."

She sounds shocked "Ominous now stop it. I love you."

She said I love you. The first time she has ever said it and it was so magical I couldn't bare it I grabbed her took her to the undercroft. That night was my first night with Anne, and I swore she was the only one I needed.

The next morning I realized where we were and told Anne to wait there as I went to the great hall and found Sebastian looking concerned.

"Athena got the letter, her mom will meet us in Hogsmeade tonight. You two never came back Ominis, what the heck man. Where is she." Sebastian says angrily.

I shook my head grinning. "Come on let's take some food to her in the undercroft" I say grabbing some fruit and a muffin her favorite breakfast.

After breakfast we we sent Athena a letter to meet us in the undercroft. We spend the rest of the day, Just the four of us, in the undercroft. I wished Anne could stay here and not leave. But I can tell she's in pain.

That night I offer carry her, but her stubbornness runs in the family. We make it to Hogmeade and we all give our love to Mrs. Johnson and Anne, who were already getting along amazingly. I take Anne's hand and kiss her passionately I whisper in her ear "I love you. I will write you every day and night. You are my everything Ms. Sallow. I will see you this Holiday which is right around the corner."

She smiles and says "I love you Mr. Gaunt. No matter what. You made me so incredibly happy. Thank you. I will be writing. Keep an eye out for my letter."

We say goodbye one more time and then Anne and Mrs. Johnson we're gone. Anne is safe. That's the most important thing. I love her and she loves me. Wow.
