Quidditch Tryouts

Coming back to school after the holidays was kind of disappointing, but I was excited to get back to work and finish the school year. Quidditch tryouts were this week so I knew I wouldn't see Sebastian a lot, I decided I'd hang out with Ominous knowing he was probably missing Anne.

'Ominis

Meet me by the black lake by the boat house in thirty minutes. Let's study Potions, I'm really struggling.

Athena'

I hand my beautiful owl the letter. "Take this to Ominis will you, love?" I scratch her head and off she goes.

Sitting in my dorm, I see Imelda start to get ready for the day.

"Imelda! Hey how are you? Did you have a good break?" I say cheerfully.

She runs over to me smiling "Athena, I got a brand new broom from my grandparents!! We are winning this year for sure! I can't wait for tryouts so I can see who I want on the team!!!" She says unlocking her hug and looking at me determined. "You're trying out aren't you?"

I wasn't going to try out. I had so much on my plate and I want to watch it! Maybe next year I'll try out, but this year I want to watch it and feel the energy from the game!

"No, not this year love. However, Sebastian will try out." I say smiling.

"Ugh, Yeah okay. He's good but I would prefer you."

I roll my eyes grabbing my potions book. "And at that I bid you adu." Bowing as I exit the dorm.

I knew that Ominis and I both wanted to watch the quidditch try outs, and we'd have about two hours to study before we had to make our way to the field. I see Ominis sitting against the boat house with his wand up, "Athena, hello I got your letter! I don't know why you asked me for help. You know I'm rubbish at Potions." He says starkly.

I laugh "I know, I didn't, I just wanted to hang out. Figured you were missing Anne."

He frowns "I suppose you're not wrong. I definitely do miss her."

I smile "I saw the ring on her finger, is it what I think it is? It was so beautiful and it matched her Bracelet perfectly!"

He sighs "you saw it, or she told you?" He gives a half smirk.

"Of course she told me, and then showed me." I hug Ominis tightly "congratulations my friend, and you two are perfect for each other. Her and I definitely cried happy tears. ALOT of happy tears!" I say starting to choke up.

"Please don't cry, you two have probably cried enough for the lot of us." He says laughing

"So what's your plan now?" I say curiously.

"I just want to spend the rest of her days happy. If that means not coming back next year so be it. I already have a small house for the two us. I'll just make her happy." I smile.

"Ominis that's amazing! How in the world can you get a house we're only sixteen." I say curiously.

"I'm still a Gaunt you know. I know people." He says carefully.

"I see so if I were to tell you about a secrete quest, would you be able to help me?" I say smirking.

Ominis Frowns again "Don't tell me you and Sebastian are still looking for, Athena.." he starts to get upset.

"No, Ominis it's not what you think. No dark magic this time... okay this is kind of hard to explain." Ominis is looking furious.

"No Dark Magic, Athena you how obsessed he is with this, and what he did to... well you know... this is not a good idea." He says angrily.
