I awoke on a cold, hard, dark, and wet floor. Feeling a harsh humming from my head, and to the fuzzy needle feeling running through my arms and legs.

I lay on the ground, flashbacks of yesterday appear in my mind.

Cold and lifeless, my parents were on the floor.

I feel myself sobbing on the floor.

I feel my soul shattering.

With trembling hands I feel myself look out to where I am.

Pitch Black, except for the window so far up that it shows in a sliver of light from the moon.

Why is this happening?

I should of never left with Sebastian... my parents....

I have never felt so incredibly alone in my life.

I've seen dark before, but not like this.

I feel myself surrendering to the darkness around me. I'm ready to surrender.

My body feels heavy, I Curl into a foetal position.

This voice in my head continues.

I take a deep breath, and when I open my eyes I see Salis closing the door behind him.

I get to my feet quickly feeling my head twirl and my heart and head pounding.

I try not to show my angst, my pain, my suffering.

"Athena, stop, I'm here to help." He says putting my hands up in the air.

I laugh putting my hand to my head. "Help. I don't need your help." I say a angrily.

"I can't get you out of here, however... if we can contact Sebastian...." He says confidently.

"Stay away from Sebastian!" I shout at him.

He runs over and puts him hand to my mouth. "Shut your god damn mouth, do you want to get us both killed!" He says looking scared for a moment and listen carefully making sure he doesn't hear any foot steps. "They don't know I'm here you idiot. So if you want my help, tell me how I can help." He says with a heavy breath.

"I won't tell you where he is, but if you send a owl, tell him to meet you at my parents house. He may meet you there.... Salis... please make sure he stay safe, I can't bare another death." I say with tears running down my face "did they kill Andrew?" I say suddenly.

"No Andrew is here unfortunately. They plan on torturing him to get to you. Answers. They aren't fooling around Athena, not at all. They will kill him." He says looking at me with sorrow. "Let me talk to Sebastian, I'm sure he's very upset"

"He's more than upset Salis.... You know that. Go." I say turning away from him bringing my knees to my chest and shivering.

"Be careful Athena." He says unlocking the door and leaving me to my sorrow.
