(Athena)

The Holidays began and it was really the first time Sebastian and I have been alone together.

It was so exciting having our own space.

The snow was falling really hard making it a Beautiful sight, but very very cold.

Luckily Sebastian had cleaned the place so well, and he also has a lot of fire wood to keep us extremely warm.

Sebastian and I were cuddling by a fire, he was reading some of his favorite poems to me. Until we heard a loud pop come from the kitchen, make Sebastian and I look at each-other with confusion.

Wand out, I make my way to the kitchen first.

"Deek?" I say turning the corner seeing our little friend.

"Hello! Deek is very happy to see you both!  Professor Weasley had me deliver some food to you. She wanted to make sure you had plenty to eat since it's just the two of you out here." Deek says putting some food on the table and fridge.

Sebastian and I look at each-other again.

"Deek, that was so incredibly kind... can we give you any money for all of th-"  I say getting my wallet out

"Absolutely not Miss. It was a gift! You keep your money Miss." Deek says smiling, and giving me a dirty look.

I look at Sebastian and smile.

"I'll go write Professor Weasley a letter of thanks. Deek it is very good to see you. Please feel free to come here anytime you would like." Sebastian says patting Deek on the shoulder before exiting the room.

"Thank you Sir, you are to kind." Deek says smiling after him.

"How are you Deek?" I ask him, as I start putting away items he has brought.

"Oh miss, please allow me to do it. It's an honor to help you with this. I miss being a house elf, being able to help and do things makes me feel worthy miss." Deek says grabbing my hand and moving it away from all of the food. "Please just sit, Deek insists."

I roll my eyes but smile "okay Deek if you insist, sir." I say with a laugh. "You know Deek.... You are more then welcome to live with us if you like. By no means are you bound here forever, you will still be a free elf, you could probably even help Poppy and Garreth with the beasts... I'm sure they would love that, since you know them best...." I say smiling at Deek being completely honest with him. Surely Sebastian wouldn't mind him staying, and with the twins... we could really use the extra help...

"Oh miss.... Really? Deek stay here? With you? And Mr. Sallow?"

"We would love that more than anything Deek. You have always been so very helpful in the room of requirement, we would love to have you here."

"I would get to take care of Little Sallows?" He says pointing to my stomach.

"If you like to, of course!" I say happily.
"We would never force you to do anything you didn't wish to do Deek." I tell him with compassion in my eyes.

"May I talk to Professor Weasley first, Miss?" Deek says looking disappointed.

"Of course. You take your time and think about it. There's no rush. But the offer is on the table." I say to him calmly and encouragingly.

"Thank... thank you Miss. This is a very kind offer." Deek says sincerely.

I shake my head and give him a hug.

As I sit down again Sebastian comes back in with the letter in his hand. "Perfect Deek your still here! Instead of sending our owl In the freezing cold weather, would you mind taking this back with you? It's for Professor Weasley of course." He says with a chuckle and a smile handing the letter to Deek.
