Light in the Dark // Sebastian Sallow

The Date

I make it to Hogsmeade and find Sebastian standing there with his mouth opened.

He is wearing a green tie with a white long shirt and gray suite. He continues to stare are me and says

"wow you look -"

"Underdressed compared to you. You know how to dress up Sallow. I'm impressed." I say staring at him smiling impressed.

"I was going to say you look gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous, how about you do a spin so I can get the full look."

He takes my hand and spins me and I giggle.

"Thank you Sebastian." I say blushing.

"I love it when you blush" he kissed my cheek. "Come on love, it's a little way from here."

We walk for a little while "where are we going Seb? Good thing I wore my good walking boots here."

He looks at me "aren't you always up for an adventure with me?"

I roll my eyes "yes of course, I just assumed we were going to the three broom sticks or something."

He looks surprised. "You thought our first date, our first special date would be at the three broom sticks where we go all the time."

I look at him "well to be fair I've never been on a date before so, I guess? I honestly have no idea what you have in store for me. Hopefully we don't have to fight any spiders.... "

He takes my hand and intertwines his fingers into mine. He stops and we both look ahead.

He found a beautiful waterfall and had set up a picnic for us by the water.

It was golden hour so it was just ... perfect.
He leads me to the blanket and makes a basket appear out of no where.

"Sebastian... this is breath taking...." I say looking around the beautiful area. "How did you find this place?"

"Well, I found it by accident. I was just wondering my second year, rule breaking of course. I just sort of found this place. I would come here and read a lot trying not to think of Anne 5th year." He said looking down with a sad expression.

My heart hurt for him and Anne. I wished I knew how to control my power to take Anne pain away. I just didn't want to hurt her any further, or Sebastian.

"Hey, hey look at me Seb" I take his face with my two hands "we will find a cure, we will find a solution to help Anne. I promise you. Even if it means me figuring my magic out. We'll figure it out the Right Way. No dark magic. Okay? She will come around eventually Sebastian. She needs time to heal her heart. She's physically and mentally drained. Let her breath and adjust."

"We don't have to talk about this right now. This is about us. Let's just enjoy this moment. But I do appreciate everything thing you just said and I hear you." Sebastian say with a smile taking my hand.

The rest of the evening we talking about our classes and all our friends and the types of relationships they were getting themselves into.

"I really think Imelda has a thing for Ominis. But I don't know I think Ominis has a thing for Anne maybe?"

My jaw drops to the ground "Anne? Really?" It just occurred to me that the only time I really saw Anne and Ominis together was outside the Catacomb... but I'm not bringing that up right now.

"How does that make you feel? Your best friend with your sister?" I ask out of curiosity.

"He's always tried to hide it, but the way Anne looks at him, I just know he really likes her. He has for a long time. I think he's scared to tell me those. Honestly it doesn't bother me, it maybe slightly weird... but it she's happy then I'll be happy." He says smiling.
