We Passed

(Athena)

"I DID IT!" I shout looking at my letter.
"Imelda! I passed! I can apparate! Merlin's beard. I can't believe it!" I say getting up and grabbing my letter swirling around the room happily.

"I passed to!" She says wrapping me in a hug! We laugh excitedly.

"What a relief, although I don't mind flying everywhere! While Hecktor and I are traveling abroad it'll be nice to just apparate there!" Imelda says walking towards the door.

I smile to myself "I forgot you were going off with your professional quidditch team. It'll be amazing for you!" I say walking with her to the common room.

"I'll catch you later Athena, I got to ask Hecktor if he passed!" She says leaving my side striding towards Hecktor who kisses her excitedly.

I smile as I watch them. I love that she is so happy. Her life will be so wonderful. I can't wait to see what she does with the rest of her life. We still have one more year of school, but wow... I feel like she'll be an amazing professional quidditch player.

My eyes scan the room for a messy brown hair guy. I spot him hiding in his favorite corner or the room by the fireplace. His head burried in one of his many books.
I walk gracefully over to him tapping his shoulder. "A bit of light reading?" I say laughing at him.

Sebastian simply smiles and looks up at me for a moment. "Your in a chipper mood my love."

"I passed." I say quickly so excited.

"I knew you would! I did too, oh I'm so proud of you darling." He says giving me a kiss and embracing me lovingly.

"We'll be able to get around so much more quickly now. I wished we could use it in this damn school." Sebastian says sticking his head back into his book.

"What are you reading?"

He looks up, and the anxiety that is pouring out of him filters through my pores.

"Whats wrong?"

He gets up suddenly and takes my hand. Not saying a word and just walking out of the room.

"Where are we going?" I say quietly.

"The room." He says in a serious tone.

We stay quiet until we get into the room of requirement.

"Deek, good evening. Would you mind leaving us just for a a few moments?" Sebastian ask Deek politely.

"Mr. Sallow, I'll be back tomorrow morning!" Deek says happily snapping his fingers and leaving.

I'm completely shocked about Sebastian asking Deek to leave.

"Listen, Anne is in St. Mungo's she's not doing well." He says with tears swelling in his eyes.

"What? She was just fine the other da-"

"You know how quickly things can change. She's not eating, she's looks more I'll than ever... I think this is it for her Athena..."

"No!" I say suddenly.

I wrap myself around Sebastian and don't say anything. What can I say to him?

"We need to go now then... I think I can save her.... I just need to find the way to do it correctly...." I say unwrapping myself a pacing the room.

"Athena..."

"No listen to me, you don't have to come. Stay here with Anne! I can help her Sebastian!" I say with tears filling my eyes.

"Your not going alone."

I walk up to him and put my forehead to his. "If anything happens to her, and your not there... it will destroy you." I say touching his cheek softly.

"I'm going with you, Athena, we will visit Anne before we leave." He says darkly. "We're going to save my sister."

"I don't think this is a good idea...." I say shaking my head.

"We'll leave tomorrow. I've been reading and reading and studying as much as I can. We will find where we need to go. We can do this." Sebastian says grabbing my face and we somehow are on our knees.

"Okay.... I just don't want you to resent me if anything happens to her..."

"Shhhh" he says putting his face in my neck. "I could never resent you."

"Use the extension charm on your bag and pack what you need. We will leave very early this morning. We have to take our brooms a little away from the castle and Hogsmeade, then we can apparate to Anne, we will then apparate to Greece." Sebastian says almost in a whisper.

I shake my head in agreement but we continue to hold each other.

"I'm so so sorry about Anne, Sebastian...." I say feeling the tears pouring from my eyes.

"Don't be sorry, we'll get her better...." He say confidently, but I feel the tears running from his eyes to my neck.

We let go of our embrace and I wipe away Sebastian's tears.

He takes my hand and kisses my palm. "Thank you for understanding me. You always seem to understand me... when no one else would take my side, you never backed down. Now there will be a way to save Anne, and your my answer.. my prayer I've been asking for, for so long. Okay, wait, that makes is sound like I've been using you. I'm not. And if it puts you in more trouble then we will stop. But I finally have faith. We can do this."

"We can do this. We will save Anne." I say confidently smiling up at Sebastian.

He puts his forehead on mine and smiles into my eyes. "I love you." He whispers.

"I love you." I whisper back.
