Light in the Dark // Sebastian Sallow

I pack all of my things from my Slytherin girls Dorm and run into the main entrance  hall to grab something to eat before I head home for the summer.

I see Poppy and Natt talking run over to them i hug them both and say "you both are never going to believe what happened after the party" I told them everything that happened saying I sunk into the library and not the undercroft because it's EXTREMELY secretive.

Poppy says "wow you and Sebastian are already super close, but a whole summer together? That should be interesting!!"

Natty shakes her head "you two are going to get in trouble aren't you?"

Athena looks at her sarcastically and says "I haven't the foggiest of what your on about lady" with a smirk.

They finish up there conversation and the Athena walks to the Slytherin table to eat breakfast.

All the students are filling onto the Hogwarts express when Athena finally finds a compartment she smiles as she seems Ominis sitting there. "Hello Athena. We should talk"

"Ominis it still shocks me how you knows it's me every-time, but also what's up?"

Ominis smirks and says "Its your smell, you remind me of the beach. I heard a rumor you and Sebastian are spending the summer together. Listen to me very closely Athena. He is not himself, he used all those unforgivable curses. All of them. You have to mean each and every single one. I cannot forgive him, nor do I trust him. Be. Careful. Do you understand me?"

I look at ominous as if he's insane discussing this right now "Ominis shhh people might hear you! But also yes I know what your saying and I appreciate you looking out for me, but he also can't be by himself! Ominis he needs us more then ever and you know it. He has no one, Anne leaving him has destroyed him! Give him a second chance."

Ominis looks annoyed "I cannot do that, not right now, the wound is still opened and I'm not ready. However, you have a good heart Athena. Protect it, okay?"

I turn my head to see Poppy, Amit and Sebastian starting to file into our compartment Poppy says with a smile "May we join you guys?"

I say with a smile back "absolutely!"

Sebastian and Ominis do not say a single word to each-other the whole entire trip until we pull up to the platform and Ominis pulls Sebastian aside and says "a word?"

(Sebastian)

Ominis pulled me aside after everyone has left the compartment and said "I can't forgive you, I'm not there yet. However, I would like to write. Tell me how your feeling. Keep me posted on how your summer is. Okay?"

I turn to Ominis, my best friend since the first year of Hogwarts. "I promise Ominis I will do everything in my power to prove to you I have changed. You have my word. I will not be messing around with the dark arts anymore. Not with what I did to Anne. I don't think I'll forgive myself anytime soon for this. I don't even deserve the kindness Athena is showing me. And I know your summer isn't going to be good with your family. Please write to me if you need anything Ominis, I will help you with whatever you need."

Ominis frowns "I don't need your help Sebastian, your help winds up causing more trouble than what's it's worth. You stay out of trouble and don't get Athena in trouble either. She's been through enough too. Goodbye Sebastian."

Sebastian watches Ominis go "goodbye Ominis"
