For the first time in a long time, I didn't dream about Fig. I didn't dream about the demons in my head. I woke up surprisingly refreshed for once.

Imelda looked at me and said "That party was a little rough. I can't believe Garreth actually said that stuff to you."

My stomach turned seeing how I forgot about Garreth completely. "Oh yeah, he's an ass. It's all good."

She turns and smiles at me "so what's going on between you and Sebastian then? I saw him defending you, and you guys were super close last year..."

I looked a Imelda "my lord lady, I need to shower and get ready.. can't be late for my first day back!"

Avoiding eye contact she smirks "Mhm, yeah okay Athena! We'll talk later!"

After getting ready for the day I make my way to the common room

"Good morning Beautiful." Sebastian says.

I'm a little startled not even realizing he was sitting by the fire. "Sebastian! You startled me. Good morning!"

He makes his way over to me and smiles "I startled you? Well then it is an honor to have made you officially awake for the morning, now come on I'm hungry."

I roll my eyes "Okay, Sallow, come on after you."

Ominis is standing at the entrance of the common room "Athena, Sebastian it's about time I've been waiting ages"

I smile at Sebastian.

Sebastian says "sorry mate, long night last night."

"Yeah I heard, I'm sorry that happened to you Athena, Garreth is a Twat. No one believes a word he's been saying."

I look at Ominis and stop him and give him a hug "thanks Ominis that means so much, you have become such a close friend so thanks for looking out."

We make our way to a great hall to eat breakfast. With Sebastian and Ominis I don't even care about the eyes staring at me as we make our way to our table.

Charms is the first class of the day. We're learning Glacius Duo which is the stronger version of the freezing charm Glacius.

Sebastian seem to be in a lot of my classes this year. As much as I wanted to sit next to Sebastian I knew that he'd be a huge distraction for me

"Hey Seb you sit with Ominis I'm going to sit with Natty."

He gives him a disappointed look but shakes his head "uhm, yes well of course Ominis would be completely lost in this class without me"

"No I wouldnt." Ominous says determinedly shaking his head.

Sebastian and Ominis sit at a table across the way where they were last year.

"What's going on with you two?" Natty says smiling that curious smile.

"Don't ask, I'm sorry about the party last night. I did want to have fun but with what Garreth said.." I say quietly

"No apology necessary as you serious? What a fool for doing that to you! And you weren't flirting with him at all! I think he was just insulted you turned him down on the carriage. Don't worry we got your back lady."

I smile and hug her "thanks Natty"

After class is over we pack up our things and head out of the class room. I'm making my way to Herbology when I hear a familiar voice

"Athena Oh my gosh! I've been looking for you everywhere!" I turn to see Poppy.

"Poppy hey! What's up why have you been looking for me?"

"Well, I actually need your help! Do you mind if we talk alone this afternoon?"

"Of course Poppy no problem!"

"Great I'll send you an owl on where"
she runs off after giving me a hug.

I look at Sebastian " that was a little odd"
he looks at me concerned.

"It's Poppy, maybe she needs help rescuing a beast of some sorts? Don't look at me like that it'll be okay."

"You're always putting yourself in danger to help others. It's just what you do." He takes my hand "I don't like how people think they can use your magic and put you in danger.

"Sebastian really, I'll be fine don't worry about me." I say rolling my eyes at him.

Sebastian never releases our hands and we walk to Herbology together. Me blushing the whole entire time.
