"Hey precious" I smiled at Collie as she crawled into my room, and she smiled back with her adorable smile.
I stood up from my chair, and picked her up, and walked downstairs.
Clay was making dinner with the help of George, more like George followed him around, asking when it will be done every two seconds. Quackity, Tommy, and Karl were playing just dance. And Sapnap and Iris were watching who knows what on Iris's phone.
I looked over and saw Harper also in the kitchen, grasping onto Clays leg as he traveled around the kitchen.
I sat down, and put Collie in my lap.
Collie is a little over a year old now, and I want her to learn to walk. Harper was an early walker at around 10 months, but couldn't really talk until around 14 months. Collie started talking pretty early, not much, just a few words, and blabbering here and there.
"Iris and Nick, do you mind helping me out with Col for a bit?" I asked, kissing Collies forehead "No, of course not" Sapnap replied, tossing his phone onto the couch "what's up" "I'm gonna try and get her to walk" I said, standing her up.
She can stand pretty well, but walking, not so much
"You guys go over there" I pointed at a spot a few yards away "grab her binki or a toy"
Sapnap grabbed her teddy bear and her pink binki
At this point, the boys turned off just dance, and sat on the couch, watching to hopefully see Col take her first steps.
"Dinners do-" Clay began, and saw what we were doing, and watched, as well as George. Harper being oblivious of the whole situation
"c'mon Collie.." I mumbled, helping her stand up "Come her baby" Iris said, showing her the teddy
She giggled, and bent down, beginning to crawl to them, making me sigh
Sapnap picked her up, and tossed me her teddy bear "You gotta walk to mommy, okay? You've had lots of practice you can do it" Sapnap smiled, helping her stand, and facing her towards me
Collie looked at me, and smiled, but then looked more focused, looking down at her feet. "You can do it, darling" George said, quietly
Collie looked back up at me, and moved her left foot forward, and then her right
I gasped, covering my mouth as she got closer to me
She giggled as she made it to me, and fell into my arms, and everyone began yelling.
"You did it, babygirl" I smiled, and felt Karl wipe my cheeks, me not even realizing I was tearing up.
"I GOT IT ON VIDEO" Quackity yelled, and picked up Collie, beginning to dance with her "You did it, Amor. You're such a big girl" he kissed the tip of her nose, making me smile ear to ear.
Collie has been walking all day today. She falls every once in a while, but she's doing great and I'm so proud of her
A/n: yes, short chapter, but I feel like Harper is more focused on than Collie, so I wanted to make a lil chapter abt Col :)
