Chapter 20

"I'll be back, I'll even get even with you again" Day pointed into Brick's face with hard eyes.

"Where are you going?" Brick asked out of curiosity.

"My brother is in the hospital, I have to hurry to see him. As for you, I know you don't have school tomorrow, don't go out again!" Day grabbed her bag and left the room immediately.

"What is it... came to attack me and then he was gone... Damn, it hurts so bad. Did you ever think that I was hurt too?" Brick reached out to rub his cheek on the side that had been slapped.

"He doesn't care about other people's hearts," Brick said again before laying down on the couch with a confused expression in his heart. The thin figure lay down and thought for a while before getting up and taking a shower and going to bed, he felt that the bed was wider when he slept alone like that.

"What is wrong with you?" Fu asked when he saw his friend frown after returning with personal items.

"Nothing, I'm just frustrated," Day said, looking at the bed. to his brother's body lying

"What else?" Fu asked but Day remained silent, he got up and covered his brother.

"Hey Day, is there something you're hiding from me?" Fu asked.

"Why do you think I'm hiding something?" Day asked, turning to face his friend.

"Where did you go now? You said you had business, I want to know what your business is?" Fu asked. Day looked at his friend, not showing any suspicion.

"I was taking care of my brother's business" said Day

"Uh... I thought you were hiding your wife somewhere and you weren't going to tell your friends" Fu said leaving Day a little perplexed, about Brick, because only Neil knew and Day didn't want anyone to know, because Fu is a little more understanding and soft-hearted, unlike Day and Neil.

"Nonsense, how am I going to get a wife? As long as my brother doesn't find true happiness, I don't want to love anyone and I won't!!" Day said walking to the balcony and smoking with Fu following him.

"But I think you can find someone, your heart is very cold, find someone to warm it up a little" Fu said, Day blew out cigarette smoke.

"Who could stand to be with someone like me for so long? A nature like mine only causes pain to others, no one can stand it and it will disappear anyway. I'm going to take care of my brother and I'm already satisfied", said Day thinking of the face of the person who just messed up.

"I'm not trying to change your nature, just adjust little by little. Be less impatient, even if you can't do your best at least you can try, right?" Fu told his friend.

Day didn't say anything but thought for a while, he expected to hear that, because Fu didn't talk much and this kind of subject depends on each person and no one can teach anyone else.

"Go back first and sleep at home, I'll take care of him tonight," Day told his friend.

"Well, I'll be back in the morning, if you want anything you can call me." Said Fu. Day nodded before Fu walked over to collect his things and left the room leaving Day alone to take care of his brother.

Tomorrow Next

Brick woke up in the morning, showered and dressed and called for food for the room and left like Day said. The thin figure wanted to call and ask about his brother but he didn't want to hear Day's screams again.

Brick's phone rang while he was sitting on the couch watching TV.

📱- ("It's rotten and you died in the room, right?") As soon as Brick answered the call Nick's voice rang out.
