Chapter 47

"Calm down, let's buy what we need first" said Brick before leaving to get more items, so they went to pay.

"Well... why did you buy liquid supplies, shampoo and toothpaste in full size?" Brick asked.

"What stupid question is that? or are you stupid?" said Day making Brick frown at the same time as Day.

"I'm living with you, if I buy a small package, it'll all be over fast. I'm too lazy to go out and buy something like that often," Day said, looking at the stuff the clerk was passing by. Hearing this, Brick was a bit stunned with a flushed face.

"Oh, wait," Day said, stopping the clerk before picking up some packages from the register, he turned to look at Brick.

"Whose is this?" Day asked, smiling wryly, when he saw a large bag of chips, along with chocolate, two candy sticks and other snacks, Day didn't put them in the cart and asked Brick.

"It's mine, I'm too lazy to buy it at your condo so I'll buy it here and take it" Brick said quietly.

"These snacks are pretty useless," Day said.

"Why are you complaining? I can pay" said Brick as he pretended to take the bag of snacks from Day's hand to pay himself, but Day avoided it and gave it to the clerk to charge his bill.

"Don't talk too much, I'll pay for it, sort out all your snacks, don't waste other people's time," Day said as he turned around to pay for things.

Brick secretly sniffed at Day. When the payment was completed, the two went to the car. Day took Brick back to the condo, they both helped each other out by carrying the condo's purchased items.

"There you are" someone's voice rang out.
Brick and Day got off the elevator and were surprised to see Neil standing at the front of the room waiting for them.

"What are you doing?" Day asked. Neil didn't reply but instead

looked at Brick and asked, "Where's that short bastard?" Day looked puzzled at Brick.

"Oh, who? What short bastard?" Brick asked with a confused expression.

"Where's your friend Nick, where did he go?" Neil asked again.

"Oh, uh...,? Nick? I don't know, he didn't come to class today, I tried to call him, but Nick turned off his cell phone. What do you have to do with him?" Brick asked again.

"Don't tell me you were waiting here to ask Brick about this, why didn't you call me?" said Day making Neil freeze a little.

"I forgot, I'll go first" Neil said, before tensing up and walking towards the elevator, Brick got a little suspicious.

"Why did your friend come looking for Nick? What was he doing here?" Brick said.

"You don't need to know about other people's business," Day said before opening the bedroom door to enter. Brick quickly gathered things and followed.

"Tell me what did that idiot do? Looking at Neil, I don't know how stressed he is, if anything, I can tell my friend to run away immediately" said Brick, because he thinks Nick caused all of Neil's stress and why that Neil came looking for him.

"Wait and ask your friend, I don't know," Day said, knowing only half of Neil and Nick's story.

📲Trim... trim... trim...

Day's phone rang. The tall figure took the call and went to sit on the sofa and talk, meanwhile, Brick sorted the items out of the bags.

📱- "Hello, Night" said Day when his brother called.
