I woke up the next day, with my phone vibrating like crazy.
Well, I'm popular this weekend.
I pick up my phone to see 26 messages from Emma, and 3 missed calls.
Eh...what?
Emma: Heyy gurl, we should go shopping today
Emma: Just some girl talk with my BAEEE
Emma: Aka you
Emma: You are my bae
Emma: And my Nickey-poo
Emma: Anyways, GO SHOPPING WITH ME
Emma: ANSWER YO PHONEEEE
Emma: THERES THIS SUPA CUTE DRESS THAT I SAW THAT WOULD LOOK FAB ON U
Emma: PLZZZ
The texts go on and on.
Me: OKAY GOD I'M UP
My phone buzzed a few seconds later
Emma: THANK GOD IM SO IMPATIENT
Me: I realized...
Emma: So, wanna gooo :D
Me: Yeah, sure. When are we going?
Emma: An hour or so
Me: Okay, I'll ask
Emma: Yayyyyyyyy :DDDD
I finally got out of bed, and went downstairs. I went into my kitchen and grabbed a red velvet flavored Poptart, which are my new obsession, and went to find my mother.
She was typing on her computer in her room, probably typing one of her reports for her job. She was wearing her reading glasses, which really makes her look like an old hipster. Her hair was up in a ponytail, and was still wearing her PJ's.
"Morning." she said, with a slight droop in her voice.
"Morning, are you alright?"
"I'm fine, just a little tired, that's all."
"Ah, hey could I go to the mall with Emma today?"
She looked at me and snickered.
"Someone's been popular recently, eh? Are you sure you aren't tired of being around people?"
"I'm fine." I said, unamused.
I'm actually so done with people, I just don't want to disappoint Emma.
"Alright, you can always cancel."
"I know."
"You can go. As long as you want to go."
"I do!"
"Okay, hun." she said, standing up and kissing me on the forehead.
I smiled, and walked back out of her room. It's super stuffy in there anyways.
I grabbed my phone and texted Emma back.
Me: I can go.
Emma: YASSS
Me: Are you picking me up?
Emma: YASSS
Me: You said an hour, right?
Emma: YASSS
Me: Stop saying yasss
Emma: YASSS
