I paced down the long hallway, passing by the waiting areas in the Washington airport.

Where is he? Isn't his flight suppose to be here at 10?

I rubbed my eyes, and glared down at my watch.

10:02

I growled under my breath, and took a seat at the waiting area.

It's been three years since Calvin had left to go to Georgia. He was suppose to come up last year, but he said his dad kept making up excuses. He said he tried to this time, but he's coming anyways. At least, I think so.

But everyone else is doing pretty great. Emma is going to a university, majoring in technology. Christina quit her job as a waitress and is now a teacher in a nearby martial arts studio. Amelia is in Arizona in culinary school. Nick is majoring in acting. He also got a small role in a movie, which I'm super proud of him for. Alex is on tour, for a band, I think. Honestly, I don't know what he thinks he's doing. But, Christina and him are going well. Asher is in Arizona with Amelia. They're dating now, which everyone expected. He's in some art academy thing. I didn't really know he had it in him, but he's amazing at painting. In fact, he mailed me a painting of a rose last year for my birthday, which is currently hanging in my room. Calvin scowled at him at first, but he has to admit he's amazing. Anyways, Calvin is also in college, majoring in philosophy. I told him it was pointless because all you could do was be a professor, but that's exactly what he had in mind.

And I, am in college majoring in science, to be an astronomer. Surprise, surprise. I may be a loser, but at least I'm learning about something that I obsess over. I don't really know how to get a job with this, but I want to work with NASA. Well, I need to.

My family is doing pretty well, too. Cassidy had to go back to college, but she's visiting in a few months. Mom is still working as an eager journalist. As for my father, he has been switching between jobs for the past year. He has finally decided on sticking with being a librarian. I mean, it suits him. I guess that's where I get my love of reading from.

I felt my phone vibrate in my jeans pocket.

Jamie: Where did you go?

Me: At the airport waiting for my boo thang

Jamie: Oh, cannot wait to meet him! Also, where did you put laundry basket?

I rolled my eyes.

Me: It should be in my room by the door. Also, you have to say the laundry basket, not just laundry basket.

Jamie: Oh, whatever. Thanks!

I forgot to mention, Jamie and I are in an apartment together. I decided to move out because I wanted to be alone, but I still call my mom everyday, and see her at least twice a week. Jamie is visiting for a while (approximately 7 years) to see American life. She probably has the best job in the world. She managed to get a job as a cruise line worker. I think she mostly designs the performances on the ship. Kinda like an event coordinator. Don't ask me how the hell she got that job, not even knowing English that well, but that lady is a genius. She stays with me when she's not out to sea, but I usually never get to see her. She has to head off next week, though. She's going to Bora Bora. Best. Job. Ever.

I even found out what Ethan was up to on Facebook. He has a husband, and is the CEO of a big company. Not what I expected, but I'm proud of the boy, nonetheless.

I tapped my foot on the cold, marble ground.

10:13

I groaned, and my headache started to pound even more.
