The Next Night
Our House
Ame POVMe&Ruby: Aqua's appearing in a drama?!
Aqua: Why did you tell them?
Miyako: Well, you wouldn't have told them. It's the agency's job to do public relations for their affiliated talents.
Ruby: Isn't this just like mama said? Someday, I might become an idol. And someday, Aqua and Ame might actors.
She smiled.
Ruby: I see you haven't forgotten those words.
Aqua just stayed silent.
Ruby: So, what's the name of the project?
Miyako: It's a shoujo manga called "Sweet Today." Pretty sure you guys are familiar with it.
Ruby: Oh, you mean the one in Aqua's room? That was a great read!
Aqua: Stop borrowing my things without my permission!
Me: The anime adaptation has finished a few months ago.
Ruby: Yeah, the anime was great! Not to mention, Ame-nii voiced the male lead!
Miyako: The drama is produced by a recently-established internet TV station. It will have 6 episodes in total of which 3 have already aired. The main cast is mainly made up of newcomers, it looks like a rather small scale project. Aqua's role seems to be that of a villain who appears in the final episode?
Ruby: That's good, right? You always have that villain look on your face.
Aqua: Shut up.
Miyako: It's on Amazon Prime so we can watch it right now.
Ruby: Let's watch! Let's watch!
Miyako played the first episode.
"I hate people. Nobody ever spares a thought anyone but themselves."
Me&Ruby: Ah, loli-senpai.
"Do you enjoy going around with that look on your face?"
Everyone:...
The heck?
"See? You're cute when you smile."
"Don't tease me."
Everyone:...
"Stop hitting on my woman."
"Huh? What the hell man?"
"Stop righting!"
Miyako closed the laptop.
Everyone:...
Ruby: I don't remember the manga being like that?!
Me: Can I sue that lead actor for ruining my character?
Miyako: Well, the character is not technically yours...
