3rd Person POV
The story of Tokyo Blade begins when the protagonist obtains a single sword.
Himekawa: What's this? It's glowing?
He said while holding a katana. Then, a girl rushed up to him before stopping a few meters away and pointed her katana to him.
Arima: I'm one of the sword keepers, the great Tsurugi! Take your pick: Hand over that "Oath Sword" or face me in battle!
21 swords have been gathered in the far east. These "Oath Swords" grant their bearers various powers.
Arima: Please stop! I don't wanna die yet!
She begged after being beaten up by Himekawa in a duel.
Himekawa: So you admit I'm stronger?
Arima: I get it! I surrender! You're too strong!
Thus, whoever is recognized by the Oath Swords as the strongest will acquire enough power to take over a nation. This ability they will gain is called "Country Steal."
Himekawa: The power to steal a country like Japan, huh? Not bad. I always thought I'd like to try being a king.
Sometimes, those defeated in a battle lose their lives.
Arima: When you become king, you should make me one of your ministers! If you do, I Tsurugi, will cut open the path to the throne.
But frequently they become underlings.
One after another, the Blade Group defeated their foes and made new friends.
Melt: Shit... You guys are tough.
Despite losing to Blade, Melt who played the role "Kizami", let out a smile.
Melt: Hey, let me join you! When you become king, make me your general!
Himekawa looked at Arima and the latter just shrugged her shoulders.
Himekawa: I guess it's fine. You're a tough one to deal with, after all.
Melt:*smiles* Thanks!
Himekawa offered his hand and helped Melt to stand up.
Melt: Oh, and... There's this one wandering samurai you definitely should invite to your rank.
