Chapter 49

Monday

James POV

Me and Logan was in History class together and the principal come in the class.

"Good morning boys and girls" the principal said

"Good Morning Mr Jackson" we all said

"James and Logan come on" he said and we both look at each other.We go out with the principal.

"Yes sir" I said

"Come in to my office boys" Mr Jackson said and we walk in and we sit down.I put my hand on Logan thigh and rub it.Logan hand intertwine with mines.

"Boys I'm just gonna say this straight out" the principal say

"You two can't go to the dance together" he said

"Why can't we" Logan said and I rub his thigh

"I don't permit the same sex to go together in any of our dances" the principal said

"were all the same like you sir" I said

"I'm saying no and that final and if I see you two come to this dance together then you two will get suspended" he said and I look down to see Logan recording all of this with his iPhone.

"Can I call my Uncle then" Logan said and the principal nod.We walk out and Ryan call his uncle.

A couple minutes later

Ryan come in with Rye.

"Rye is here so I don't flip a desk over" Ryan said and we chuckled.Ryan and Rye walk in and we sat outside.Logan lay his head on my lap and I brush his soft hair.He look like his father but kind like his mother.

"You two are so cute" the secretary said

"Thank you ma'm" I said

A couple minutes later

You hear shouting from the room and Logan fell asleep.I go the the principal office and I knock on the door and let myself in.

"Sir we don't have to go together, I totally understand" I said

"James my boy after being in here arguing with Mr. Hutcherson.You can go boys" he said

"Thank you sir" I said and walk to Logan who woke up.

"What happen" he asked

"We can go to the dance" I said and we hugged tightly

A couple days before formal

Jen POV

We all gather for a dinner because of Logan and James formal.

"We like to celebrate the first two gays going to the 8th grade formal" Ryan said and we cheered

"I love you boys" Claire said and hugged them tight.

"Dad would be so proud of you logan" Luke said

"Thank you all" Logan and James said and we enjoy the rest of the party.

"Hon" Josh said from the kitchen

"I'm coming hon " I said and I walk to the kitchen .

"You look beautiful tonight Mrs Hutcherson" Josh said and kiss my lips

"I love you so much" I said and put my head on his shoulder.We stay their for a while until I hear some noise.

"Babe he just a friend" I hear James shout from upstairs.

"Your lying" Logan said

"Fine if you don't believe me I'm leaving" James said and walk downstairs and out front of our house.
"Josh you talk to Logan and I talk to James" I said and kissed his cheek.I run outside after James.he sat their on the step with his head on his knees.

"James" I said

"I'm sorry Mrs Hutcherson I just couldn't stay here" he said wiping his tears

"Hon please stay" I said

"He probably don't even want to go to prom w me" James said

Josh POV

"Logan, he love you so much" I said behind Ryan old room.I listen to the music Logan was playing.It was Don't You Worry Child feat. John Martin.

There was a time
I used to look into my father's eyes.
In a happy home
I was a king, I had a golden throne.

I think of her now and then.

Reminding me of a friend.

Logan came out the room with red eyes.

" I want to see my dad" Logan said

"You have to make up with James" I said

"No" he said and James walk upstairs with Jennifer.

"Logan" James said softly.Logan walk away and Jame grab his arm pulling him back.

"I love you, Logan"James said

"I just want my dad" Logan said and he put his head on James shoulder.

"He in a better place now.He not suffering no more" Jennifer said

"Boys" Claire said and walk upstairs with Luke.

"Mom can Uncle Ryan take me and James to see dad" Logan said

"Yes" she said

"You want me to go brother" Luke said

"Sure" Logan said and they walked down stairs to Ryan.

"Mom I be back, I'm just taking Logan,Luke and James" Ryan said and I heard the door shut downstairs.
