Hope

As I sit in the chair, my eyes follow Iris as she gracefully moves around the room, chatting away with Imani on the phone.

The tight jeans she's wearing accentuate her curves, making the me inside my jeans excited.

"Yeah, sweetie, I'll be over to pick you up after I help Hope with her hair.... Yes, we will take you to the park for the Easter egg hunt... Yes, Grayson will be there." She speaks into the phone. After listening to Imani ramble for a moment, she finally adds, "I love you too, Imani. Be good for Lili. Okay?" before ending their conversation.

As she hangs up the phone, she slips on some gloves to dye my hair and picks up the dye box, reading the instructions out loud. She begged to do this, and I caved in.

"Okay, so it says to mix this with that, and then we apply it to your hair for...thirty minutes. Easy peasy."

As she walks around me, her alluring scent grabs my attention. Unable to resist the magnetic pull, I grab her hand and gently guide her down onto my lap to straddle me.

She giggles, "What do you want? I'm trying to dye your hair."

"I want you," I say, nuzzling my nose in her neck. She smells like vanilla, and it's intoxicating. I leave gentle kisses along her neck, and she laughs.

"Hope, stop it! I need to focus here."

"Fine," I relent, but I can't resist adding, "for now."

She takes hold of my cheeks, showering them with a flurry of gentle pecks. As she pulls away, she glances at my eyebrows with a mischievous grin, "Can I dye them blonde too?"

I shake my head vigorously. "Hell no."

Undeterred, she pretends to rub dye from her gloves onto my eyebrows, and I swat her hands away. "Iris, I swear, if you touch my eyebrows with that dye..."

"Oh, come on, it would be fun!"

"Don't you dare," I warn with a grin, but she continues her pursuit, laughter bubbling between us.

In the midst of our fun, I push her off my lap and onto the floor. She gasps and pouts, crossing her arms and rubbing her bottom as she gets up.

"You're mean," she says, sulking.

"Aww, Bambi. I'm sorry. Come here; I'll kiss it." I pull her back towards me and plant kisses on her ass. She smirks, satisfied with my apology, and grabs the box to start dyeing my hair finally.

"How long are the kids out for Easter break?"

"Like two weeks," she replies. She walks past me to get a comb and I see her eyes lighting up as she recalls something. "One of my students brought in a chocolate bunny yesterday. He tried to 'save' it by hiding it in his desk, which I didn't know. But by the end of the day, it had completely melted, and he was devastated. And so was I because I had a mess to clean up."

I chuckle at the story, imagining the scene in her classroom. "How's everything going at Serenity? Is Lucy still upset about us being together?"

I shrug nonchalantly, not really concerned about the situation. "Not sure. I don't really care. I think her and Evie might be a thing, though, now."
