Half an hour after our spontaneous oral sex session we left the suite to catch up with the others, probably late to our own party. But it didn't matter since blowing Reed felt like an extremely important priority. I had only tasted him once that day and wouldn't have time for his wonderful knot that night sadly.

We were both clean and dressed. I had to change pants and boxers, but my purple shirt did fine. As we were about to leave the suite, Reed stopped before hurrying inside again. Soon he came out with a small box in his hand, smiling at me.

"I almost forgot," he said, opening the lid. I looked down at my leather bracelet.

"My bracelet!" I said with a big smile. "I've missed it! I thought it disappeared during my shifting."

"Louis is good at crafting with leather and fixed it, it was just the laces that broke during your first shift. But I kind of forgot about it until now." He helped me put the bracelet on and I smiled proudly at the emblem, tracing two fingers over it. "I want you to wear our family crest tonight."

"I love it," I said, giving him a peck on the lips. "Thank you." He smiled, kissing my hand before leading me toward the stairs.

In the hall basically the whole pack was gathered, greeting my family and Mike who came in through the front door, covered in a thick layer of snow. I glanced out behind them and could see how snow had started to fall heavy again.

I sent my pack members a thought where they patrolled our borders. It was Ned, Josie, Vivian, and Angus, but everyone would join us later. Or I didn't know about Angus. he kept his distance. I thought he would have abandoned us by now, considering his contempt for me. But he stuck around, though mostly for himself.

"Twig!"

"Mike!" I jumped down the last steps and threw myself around his neck. "Welcome!"

"Man, what a huge family Reed has!"

"Many of them are his employees, but we see them as family, like you!"

"Boys!" mom burst before pushing her way between Vendela, Noah and Luka who were standing talking to Meg with Susie clinging to her arm, Otto, and Isabella. She pulled me in for a hug, kissing my hair before doing the same with Reed but kissing his cheek since he was too tall for her. "How are you?"

"We are fine," I beamed at her.

"I love your castle!" we turned when Chad approached us. I laughed.

"Are you wearing a suit?!" I hugged him hard, feeling glad to actually meet him.

"It's all about the first impression when meeting the finer society!"

"We're not nicer than anyone else," Reed said with a smile, giving my brother a one-arm hug. "Nice to meet you again."

"Don't be shy!" Chad grinned. "Embrace it! If you live like this; you must belong to the finer society!"

"You made it here safe despite the snow?" Reed turned to mom, ignoring Chads comment.

"Yes, it went great," she answered, giggling as Jimmy served her a glass of champagne. "Oh, thank you."

"It will be exciting to sleep over!" Mike said. "Man, survive a night in a haunted castle!"

"Pussy!" Chad shoved him with his elbow.

We had invited my family to meet Reed's and spend the night together. We had prepared suites for everyone, where Mike got to take my suite since I was sleeping with Reed anyway.

The idea of gathering everyone came to me in the library one day when I was registering books and I had suggested it to Reed who liked it. We are one big family now, he said, where we not only united around our relationship but also strengthened the bond between humans and shifters.
