"Ryan!"

"Mike!"

"You have no idea how fucking weird it all was!"

"I can understand!"

"I understood how your life took a new turn when you got a job at Reed's, but not HOW!"

"ISN'T THIS AMAZING?!"

"MAGIC EXISTS!" Wild giggling and snickering. "I thought you maybe turn out a cute unicorn one day, but a furry over-grown pup may be cute on you too."

"YOU SHOULD SEE MY TAIL!"

"Easy now," Reed chuckled, rubbing his nose behind my ear.

"So, when you came running back to me was because you're that female variant of a wolf shifter? Like Alex but a different type, meant for... alphas?" I nodded.

"But Björn says it has nothing to do with women."

"And you were horrified how men would suddenly worship and yearn for your ass?"

"YES!"

"To fuck you?"

"Yeah, to fucking breed me!"

"Please, not such language," Reed tried but we ignored him.

"Man, I understand if you wanted to escape! This crazy shifter thing is SO overwhelming!"

We sat huddled together in the large living room by a lit fire, my pack, me, and Mike. The foreign wolves were soon to join us but had a little trouble with jet lag. And they needed to sleep before they would travel back home again later that day.

It had been a day since we got home, and I had slept most of the time. I stayed close to Reed but gradually he introduced me to the pack again and to my delight, my biggest shock began to subsid after that. Now i dared to let my pack hug me and greet me.

Since there has been a lot going on for everyone, Reed chose to gather everyone for a meeting, going thru these last weeks' events.

Now we waited for the others, but we chose to tell Mike everything about my past months here and what led to the parley. It was still nothing that directly affected the foreigners anyway.

How Reed realized what I was back in the forest and how Buck-fucker came here and made me transform. How Reed and I are soulmates and confirmed it via a... mating rite. That particular detail made him snicker like a child.

The others had already told him what we were and why I had to keep it a secret for him, helping him to understand what happened when I was taken away. And Mike therefore took my information more easily than I had thought. Alex must have briefed him well.

"I can barely understand how you now know my secret. It has troubled me so much how I couldn't tell you. I used to tell you everything Mike!"

"I am glad that I know. Now I understand your behaviour so much better. And I promise you all, I won't tell anyone. I... What those beasts can do when, like..." He swallowed hard. "What are they then capable to do to me?"

"You are safe with us," Alex kissed his cheek, snuggling up to him. "We already know our secret is safe with you."

I smiled at them. Seeing my best friend with my wolf sister was a dream come true. Although we were already like a family, we would now also become pack members.

Reed said that a human-shifter relationship isn't forbidden, but how it is fuzzy around the rules. But he welcomed Mike as part of the pack and even though he doesn't understand our four-legged side or our manners, he adapts to the pack life pretty well anyway.
