There were three girls standing near the corridor talking among themselves.

Priya: "Did you see that girl with Dr. Karan? Who is she? Even Dr. Karan personally told the staff to drop her to his cabin."

Anushka: "That girl? She's Dr. Abhi's sister. I heard she got married to Dr. Karan. Honestly, I think it's for money. It wasn't even twelve days after her brother passed away. Who marries so soon? Girls like this only care about themselves."

Rani: "Exactly. Just look at Dr. Karan and look at her. They don't even match. I feel bad for him. She has ruined his life."

Every single word reached Teja's ears.

Her heart shattered.

The insecurities she had been hiding deep inside suddenly came rushing back.

Without waiting another second, she turned and ran.

Tears blurred her vision as she rushed back toward Karan's cabin.

On the other side, Omi was walking through the corridor when he noticed Teja running past him.

She was crying.

Before he could stop her, she disappeared inside Karan's cabin.

Omi frowned.

Omi: "Something is definitely wrong."

Just then he saw Karan coming out after finishing his surgery.

Karan: "Oye Omi."

Omi: "Bhai."

Karan: "What happened? Why are you looking worried? Everything okay?"

Omi: "Bhai, go to Bhabhi right now."

Karan's expression immediately changed.

Karan: "What happened?"

Omi: "I don't know. I just saw her crying and running toward your cabin."

Karan: "What?!"

Fear gripped him.

Karan: "Omi, find out what happened. Right now."

Without waiting another second, Karan ran toward his cabin.

The moment he entered, his heart clenched.

Teja was sitting on the floor.

Her knees were pulled to her chest.

She was crying uncontrollably.

Karan: "Teja!"

He immediately rushed to her side and knelt down.

Karan: "Baby... what happened? Look at me."

But she just kept crying.

Karan: "Teja, please."

He gently held her shoulders.

Still no response.

Finally he pulled her into his arms.

She buried her face in his chest and cried harder.

Karan held her tightly.

Karan: "I'm here. You're safe. Tell me what happened."

But she couldn't speak.

The pain inside her was too much.

She only cried.

Karan felt helpless.

Seeing her break like this was breaking him too.

Slowly he pulled back just enough to look at her face.
