The next few days passed in completing all the rituals.

It was now the seventh day.

KK was still staying at the Prakash house.

He didn't want to leave Teja and her parents alone during such a difficult time.

That afternoon, Omi came to meet everyone.

After talking for a while, he pulled KK aside.

KK: What happened, Omi? What's wrong?

Omi looked at him seriously.

Omi: Bhai...

KK: Haan, say it. What's the matter?

Omi took a deep breath.

Omi: Bhai, are you sure about the marriage?

KK immediately understood what he was talking about.

Omi: And did you talk to Teja about it?

KK remained silent for a few moments.

KK: Omi, I won't lie.

He looked down.

KK: Even before all this... whenever I used to see Teja, I liked her.

Omi listened quietly.

KK: I don't know in what way exactly.

KK smiled faintly.

KK: But I'm a hundred percent sure about one thing.

Omi: What?

KK: I will marry her.

Omi nodded.

KK: But I haven't talked to her yet.

KK ran a hand through his hair.

KK: Actually... I don't know how to start the conversation.

Omi sighed.

Omi: Bhai, but you have to talk.

KK nodded.

Omi: We only have five days left.

Omi: If you remember, Abhi wanted both of you to get married within twelve days.

KK: I know, Omi.

After a moment, he spoke.

KK: I'll talk to her today.

Omi immediately shook his head.

Omi: Not today.

KK looked at him.

Omi: Right now.

Before KK could stop him, Omi continued.

Omi: Wait. I'll send her here.

KK: But Omi...

Omi folded his arms.

Omi: Bhai.

KK knew there was no escaping.

KK: Okay. Go send her.

Omi walked outside and saw Teja sitting quietly on the sofa.

Lost in her thoughts.

Omi: Tejasswi.

Teja looked up.

Teja: Haan?

Omi: Bhai was calling you in that room.

Teja nodded.

Teja: Okay.

She got up and started walking.
