KK: Teja...

Teja: Haan?

KK looked at her.

KK: What are your plans for your career?

Teja smiled slightly.

Teja: In the next ten days, I have my exams.

KK nodded.

Teja: After that, I'll start preparing for NEET.

Teja's eyes brightened a little while talking about her dream.

Teja: The exam is after two months.

Teja: I want to become a doctor.

KK smiled.

KK: Done.

Teja looked at him.

KK: I'll help you.

KK continued gently.

KK: And don't worry about anything, okay?

Teja nodded.

Teja: Haan.

A comfortable silence settled between them.

Then KK looked at the time.

KK: Now let's rest for some time.

It was around three in the afternoon.

Both of them went back to their room.

As they entered, KK pointed towards the bed.

KK: You sleep on the bed.

Then he pointed towards the sofa.

KK: I'll sleep on the sofa.

Teja immediately shook her head.

Teja: No, Dr...

She stopped.

Teja: I mean Karan.

KK looked at her.

Teja glanced towards the large bed.

Teja: Your bed is huge.

Teja smiled slightly.

Teja: We can sleep on the same bed.

KK hesitated.

KK: Are you sure?

Teja looked at him.

Without any hesitation, she replied—

Teja: I trust you, Karan.

For a moment, KK didn't say anything.

But hearing those words made him genuinely happy.

Trust.

That was something he valued deeply.

KK smiled softly.

KK: Okay.

Soon both of them lay down on opposite sides of the bed.

And within a few minutes, sleep took over.

She turned and saw KK still sleeping peacefully.

Not wanting to disturb him, she quietly got up.

She changed her clothes and went downstairs.

As soon as she reached the hall—
