After completing all the rituals, everyone returned to the Prakash house.

KK had gone to bring Teja's medicines and a new IV.

Inside the house, silence filled every corner.

KM sat beside TM.

KM: I know this is a very difficult time for all of you, but you have to stay strong. Please have this.

She brought a spoonful of rice towards TM.

But TM didn't react.

She neither looked at the food nor tried to eat it.

At that moment, KK entered the room.

He noticed everything.

Without saying a word, he walked towards them.

Gently taking the spoon from KM's hand, he knelt beside TM and held it near her mouth.

TM slowly looked up at him.

KK's eyes softened.

KK: I'm like your son too, right?

His voice was gentle.

KK: Please eat something.

TM stared at him for a few moments.

Then, without saying anything, she finally took the bite.

Everyone silently sighed in relief.

---

Afterward, KK went to check on Teja.

She was sleeping because of the medication.

Her face looked pale and exhausted.

Carefully, KK took her hand and attached the IV.

Just then, KD entered the room.

He quietly placed a hand on KK's back.

KK turned around.

KK: Dad...

KD: Sunny, come to the balcony. I want to talk to you.

KK nodded.

KK: Hmm.

The two of them walked towards the balcony.

For a few moments, neither of them spoke.

Finally, KD broke the silence.

KD: Are you okay, Sunny?

KK gave a small nod.

KK: Hmm.

KD looked at him knowingly.

KD: You have to be strong, Baccha.

KD: There is a lot to handle now.

KK: I know, Dad.

KD remained silent for a moment before speaking again.

KD: Sunny... what have you thought about it?

KK looked confused.

KK: About what, Dad?

KD: About the promise you made to Abhi.

KK lowered his gaze.

For a few seconds, he didn't reply.

Then he finally spoke.

KK: Dad... would you have a problem if I marry Teja?

KD immediately shook his head.

KD: Not at all, Sunny.

KD: It's your life and hers.

KD smiled faintly.

KD: And we would be happy if you marry her.

KK looked relieved.

KK: Dad, I want to fulfill my friend's last wish.

He paused.

KK: But what if she doesn't want it?

KK: What if her parents don't agree?

KD thought for a moment.

KD: First talk to Teja.

KD: Then your mother and I will speak with her parents.

KK nodded.

KK: Hmm.

After a pause, he spoke again.

KK: Dad...

KD: Yes?

KK: Can I stay with them for a few days?

KD already knew the reason.

KK: Teja is still weak.

KK: And her parents are under so much stress.

KD smiled softly.

KD: You don't need permission for that.

KD: Of course you can stay.

KD: In fact, for today, we're staying here too.

KK: Hmm.

After that, KD left him alone for some time.

---

A little later, KK went back to check on Teja.

The IV was still only half-finished.

So he returned to the balcony.

The night sky was filled with stars.

KK sat down on the floor.

Looking up at the sky, memories of Abhi flooded his mind.

And once again, tears started rolling down his face.

---

After some time, he felt a hand on his shoulder.

He quickly wiped his tears and turned around.

It was Teja.

KK immediately stood up.

KK: Why are you here?

Then he looked at her hand.

KK: And how are you here? You had an IV.

Teja replied softly.

Teja: Because it's my room, so of course I'm here.

For the first time in hours, a tiny smile appeared on KK's face.

KK: I mean... your IV was still attached.

Teja nodded.

Teja: Dr. Omi came to check on me.

Teja: He saw that it was finished, so he removed it.

She looked towards the sky.

Teja: I wasn't feeling good inside.

Teja: So I came out to get some fresh air.

KK nodded.

KK: Okay.

A few seconds passed.

Teja looked at him.

Teja: If you want, I can go back.

KK immediately shook his head.

KK: No, no.

KK: Sit.

Then he looked at the floor where he had been sitting.

KK: But don't sit down.

KK: Sit on the chair.

Teja nodded obediently.

Teja: Okay.

She slowly sat down on the chair beside him.

The night breeze passed quietly around them.

Neither of them spoke.

Both were lost in their own pain.

Both were missing the same person.

Thirty minutes passed in complete silence.

And then...
